“Bit worn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Interesting, large, older hotel in a good, central location. The rooms are a little small and haven't been updated in a decade or two but are ok. The common areas, lobby, restaurant etc are even older, which is charming but in some places it looks a bit worn. The hotel history is fascinating and colorful and and reflection of the history of Natchez itself.

“Central and clean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

On our arrival the reception staff were being rushed off their feet, sadly not enough on duty resulted in a curt service. We were put in room 308, the residents in room 309 were quite active, so the thin walls gave us a late nights sleep. The hotel is clean and parking was free but it needs a bit of a makeover. In the morning the member of staff on reception was more customer friendly. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the riverside and the town is very clean. Not a lot to do there.

“Good lunch buffet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

This is the oldest hotel on Main Street. It needs a bit of updating, but is still a beautiful historic hotel. It's very worth a visit and walk through the lobby. The daily lunch buffet is well attended and the food is usually quite good.

“A little piece of history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Amazing lobby packed full of history. Rooms reminded us of many historic properties we have stayed in throughout North America. Not for you if you are a regular at the Hilton or the Westin. Breakfast was not included but there was a very nice dining room with very reasonable buffet prices. The room was clean but small however that is to be expected when you take in the era the hotel was built in. Wonderful location with plenty of entertainment near by. Amazing walk-ways and paths throughout town.If you want to stay downtown this is the one!

“Quaint”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

We stayed here as part of an escorted tour. A listed building in a quiet town. Wifi free in all areas. Breakfast buffet was $10.95. Set in the middle of the town with lots of restaurants nearby to eat at. An enjoyable stay.
