Just simply To Die For !!

Durell is the ultimate Southern Gentleman Host. Not be mention that he cooks a mean breakfast. Breakfast time with the other guests is a very special time.

All the previous great reviews are correct.

Keep in mind, this is an old house, and that is it's charm. If you want modern, glitzy, internet, king bed, elevator, this is not it.

But if you want a true experience of a beautiful southern home and southern hospitality, you are in for a treat. Beautiful furnishings, antiques, and great stories. Sitting out on the front gallery sipping a glass of wine looking up and down Ole Man River and across at La. is just what the doctor ordered.

Be prepared to be spoiled !

Our stay at the Riverside Bed & Breakfast was wonderful... the breakfast was the best, the view was wonderful, the location was so convenient that we walked everywhere, and the host was unbelievably nice! As another guest we met said "why would you stay anywhere else?"

Too much to say in this short space!! Durell is the ultimate host, the view is incredible, it's very comfortable, quiet, and you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Convenient and within minutes of downtown or Under the Hill, but you never hear a sound from the house. Durell is very knowledgeable of the town and the family histories, and serves the ultimate breakfast before setting out on a day's tour. Highly recommended!!!!!

My wife and I decided to stay at the Riverside for my birthday based on the reviews from this site. I must say that we were not disappointed. The home was lovely, the view was superb, the breakfast was to die for and our host Durell was simply amazing. I would recommend this to anyone.

“An awsome place to stay!”

After a long day on the road Riverside B&B was
a great place to end the day.We were greeted by a
gracious host (Durell) and made to feel right at
home. Riverside B&B has all the southern charm
and beauty that you would expect. The view of
the Miss.River from the second floor balcony is
absolutely spectular especially while sipping
on a glass of great tasting wine furnished by
the host. The next morning we were treated to a
wonderful southern style breakfast and coffee. We
were able to stay only one night, but it was the
best B&B experiences we have ever had. Thanks Durell.
