“wonderful meal.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2014

we dined here with our American friends and had a wonderful meal. there was only one waitress on duty and the restaurant was nearly full. we did not mind waiting and told her to serve everyone else first. the meal was wonderful and the waitress was very attentive and friendly. the plantation house itself was beautiful and I wish we had booked to stay the night there not just have dinner. what we could see of the the grounds they looked beautiful. this is a must eat place when in Natchez.

We had our Christmas eve dinner here and were impressed with the good service and quality of beef. The quail starter was also very good.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

Ok, so I eaten here numerous times and each time it is absolutly outstanding! I have one of the meals I've eaten here on my top ten right behind a steak I had cooked at Emeril Lagasse's restaurant. Excellent service and you feel right at home. I wish I had more hands so I could give this place 4 thumbs up!

“Wonderful Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013 via mobile

We had the Southern Menu Sampler which consisted of one of each courses on the menu. Every course was excellent and well prepared. The room is gracious and the service outstanding. This meal was one of the highlights of our vacation. We stayed at Monmouth for two nights and would have gone again but unfortunately they are not open on Mondays.

“Romantic Memory”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Monmouth and chose to have dinner at Restaurant 1818! The atmosphere, service, and meal was absolutely wonderful and memorable! As a matter of fact we are returning for our 41st anniversary and reservations at the restaurant are already made! I absolutely recommend this restaurant when visiting Natchez! Walking on the grounds afterward is a must!!!
