When we arrived we strolled along the sidewalk and watched the mighty Mississippi roll by. It was so pleasant.

Free parking and a nice walk on the bluff overlooking the river. If it wasn't so windy and cold, we would have packed a lunch and hung out a bit.
We spent some quiet time at the Bluff Park which was within walking distance of our B&B. The weather was sunny, so we sat on a park bench and admired the view. Quite a few people were relaxing on benches, with and without books. I enjoyed watching the boats pushing huge barges up and down the river. I took a lovely shot at sunset of the bridge that crosses over to Lousiana.
Well-laid out paved trail with interpretive signs and benches at regular intervals. It can be a lovely stroll or a power walk, as you choose.
