The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We did have trouble with the shower the second morning and the wireless internet was very slow. The first night we were there was a Saturday and there was difficulty finding a parking space because there is a bar/restaurant attached to the motel office that shares the small parking lot.

My girlfriend stayed here 12 years ago, and it has not changed. It is a great deal, clean large room, you can see Mt. Rushmore light up at night. it is a old school motel that has not changed much. No frills, but thats ok the price reflects that. We would stay there again, nice and quiet and peaceful. My only complaint is the staff could use a little more training, not real friendly and could be a little more helpful,

I was not expecting a whole lot because the price of this place was a whole lot cheaper then most of the motels in town. The had a problem with sick staff so had no one to check us in for about a half hour. They did finally send someone there who was frazeled but friendly. No fridges or breakfast. The carpet had stains but the worst part was the air conditioner that was moldy when turned on, plus it was SOOOO very loud it was nearly impossible to sleep.
The furniture was locally made and is pine, which is really neat. The Tv's are smallish and older, but work and you get about 6 stations, The windows look out into the outside hall so its very hard to get any light into the place unless you want everyone who walks by to look in. The beds are older and the one I had was not the best.

All in all you get what you pay for and at $69.00 a night you can not expect the ritz, but I do hope they take care of the moldy loud air conditioners!!

This is a very nice motel that is close to Mount Rushmore. Very reasonably priced. Half the cost of the name brand motel around the corner. Had a restaurant attached that had excellent food. Room was very clean and somewhat rustic. Really enjoyed our stay here.

My family stayed at the motel 6 days and 5 nights. They were very reasonably priced and comfortable rooms. We saved money by being able to grill out on the balcony instead of eating out! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, well maintained. Granted it is a little older, concrete block walls and older tub and toilet, everything worked well. Management was GREAT!!! They were happy to help us and make special arrangements to suit our needs! All we did was ask. I will be staying at this motel over and over again. Make sure to book directly with the motel though! Walking distance from downtown, Great resturant (Grizzly's) food and reasonable tourist prices. Within walking distance from quite a few attractions (shopping, president museum, alpine tram and slide, resturants, gas station, and walking trails. If your looking to save money while in Keystone STAY HERE! If you looking for a Ritz, be prepared to pay for it! No refridgerator or continental breakfast, but you are saving a lot of money so bring some muffins and OJ in a cooler. GIVE THEM A TRY!

Thank you so much for taking time to give us a review. I am ecstatic to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Rushmore View Inn. It really is a great value for both the quality of room, quality of staff, and the location. That is great you were able to grill out in front of the room and enjoy a nice view of Mt. Rushmore. We look forward to seeing you again and again thanks for the review!
