We tried to book a room in the park, but due to renovation at Paradise and National Park being full (except for shared baths), we chose Nisqually Lodge. It is your basic motel room with noisy feet above if you're on the ground floor and stairs to climb with luggage if you're on the 2nd. Few extras as previous reviewers have said. Limited T.V., no coffee in room, need more light if you want to read at night. Since there is not much to do in the evening after dinner (at Copper Creek of course,) poor TV and poor light is drawback. You can't go to bed until the people above you have settled down. So if you can haul luggage up the flight of stairs I would take a 2nd floor. The rooms were clean, the location is near the park entrance, and we didn't have to share a bath. There isn't much to choose from in this area because so many people want to see beautiful Mt. Rainier park. We got great weather and the views were fantastic.
