My wife and I just saw Darius Rucker here. It is a small, but very well maintained community theater. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. We were two rows from the back and had a good view and the acoustics are very good. There is a small bar in the lobby, but no food or drink is allowed in the theater area. Personally, I like this as it keeps the seats, floor, etc. clean and you avoid wearing some drunk's drink. As other reviews mentioned, show up early and you should have no trouble with parking. We got there early, had dinner and walked around near the theater. The chicken quesadilla at Dublin's Pub was good. For dinner we ate at an Asian place just down from the theater, called Aikou, excellent sushi. My wife had a shrimp dish with a lemon cream sauce that may have been the best shrimp I've ever eaten.
Overall, it was a nice day trip and the vicinity around the theater was very safe. I have been to my local community theater and another in Albany, NY and can attest that these places can sometimes be in neighborhoods that aren't good places to stroll through, so that was a nice change of pace.
