Previous reviewers have noted the friendly and knowledgeable service (an upgrade thanks to current ownership of four years). The sushi was always good but it's reached a higher level in these last few years. Unquestioningly fresh and nice little extra touches makes an unbeatable combination. I often judge the "chops" of the sushi chef by the freshness of the uni and the yielding to tender smoothness of the squid/cuttlefish-ika. Full marks here! The sushi rolls match the ala carte with not a hint of grease to the shrimp or soft shell crab tempura used in several ones. As to the hot dishes, the beef negimaki and eel are both very good and even the two soups seem a cut above. Eat here BYOB or take out...both terrific alternatives. Big thumbs up
