“Simply The Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

We have just had our second stay at Warren Farm Lodge and we can only say it was better then the first. Robert and Deirdre make you feel like family and meeting up with Screech, Tiger and Breezy (the pets) again was wonderful. Top quality food, top quality accommodation and top quality hosts.

We stayed at Warren Lodge for a night earlier in June, what a fantastic welocome from Robert and Diedre, the location and facilities are absolutely perfect. The rooms were spacious and immaculate with every little extra you could need. We had an evening meal which was excellent and very good value. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food perfectly prepared.
There was never any pressure to check out at a particular time and we spent a morning enjoying the grounds and trying the "zip wire" which was good fun.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B.

How can you add to these fantastic reviews? Every compliment is true. We have travelled to many highly rated B&B's in the UK and Europe (and Australia). But you would have to go a long way to find anything better than this. We were just so lucky to find a night when the corner room was free. Now please send us the recipe for that amazing breakfast!!

Room Tip: We loved the corner room. But the whole house is wonderful.

We visited this wonderful place back in June 2011 while visiting friends in nearby Sandy and it ticked all of our needs and wishes.
The farm has a wonderful homely feel and yet is very grand and beautifully presented and decorated. From arrival where we were greeted with tea and lovely soft muffins, taxied into Sandy to meet friends and provided with a glorius breakfast in the main dining room the first morning and then on the sunny patio the second we were made to feel so very welcome. It was wonderful to stay somewhere with some character in lovely surroundings rather than a boring and bland chain hotel.
We stayed in the large wing which had a large comfortable bed and seating area, walk in wardrobe and roll top bath and walk in shower.
We were lucky to have good weather while we up in Sandy which gave us the chance to explore the grounds and enjoy the outdoors.
Worth visiting should you be in the area.

Where do I start? Our time at Warren Farm Lodge was nothing short of incredible. We were travelling as a couple and met up with a few other friends at Warren Farm for a nearby wedding. From the very beginning until the moment we left we were felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Deidre, who was an incredibly accommodating host.

The barn conversion has been wonderfully done. The bedrooms were all lovely (we were lucky enough to be able to check out a few while we were there as there were so many of us) and the living areas are all so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom we had in the loft was beautiful and we had a lovely view out into the gardens. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options on the menu to choose from.

I would definitely recommend the Warren Farm Lodge to anyone who is planning on staying the area.

My wife and I stayed at Warren Farm Lodge on the rather chilly weekend of 26 & 27 April 2013, but the accommodation, welcome and hospitality was anything but that! As I wrote in the guest book: Wonderful accommodation, wonderful food, wonderful hospitality that makes you feel more like family than paying guests. If you are looking for excellent B&B in this area of the country this has to be your first choice. It is only two miles from the RSPB headquarters where hours of lovely walks along with bird watching can be enjoyed. This has been the best B&B I have ever stayed at and must go there again, preferable in warmer weather so that the lovely expansive gardens can be fully enjoyed.

My family (with two three year olds) stayed at Warren Farm Lodge in April 2013 for a couple of nights and, in a nutshell, it was far more than we ever imagined from a B&B. Not only did we have loads of space to ourselves which meant (we were in the beautifully appointed North Suite) but Deirdre & Rob, both really welcoming and friendly, offer evening meals which is perfect for families with small children. So, it was the perfect place to stay. And, had it been warmer, we would have loved to have enjoyed the gardens more but unfortunately Spring was overdue!
