“lovely clean friendly hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Had a lovely two weeks. The hotel is spotlessly clean, management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool and plenty sunbeds and had plenty spares if needed.Food was lovely, if a bit pricier than other restaurants around. Breakfast was good, if a bit repetitive after a fortnight.I recommend the Turtle for a cooked breakfast if you fancy a change, only 5 lira for a full breafast, we in fact ate there for dinner too often, great place, lovely food and service at amazing value for money.Hotel is in a stunning location, a long walk if you want to go anywhere though, but we didnt mind and used the dolmus to go to shops and beaches. Was nice to escape back to the peace and quiet away from the crowds. Room was nice,if not stunning, we expected a room like we saw in the brochure, but was clean with a nice view and housemaids were excellent. Would definately return, but would book direct this time as agent over charged us and we could have had a nicer room with air conditioning included at a fraction of the cost.

My husband, three children and I had a two week stay at the fabulous Celay Hotel at the beginning of August. We can't find anything to complain about. Referring to a bad review from a couple who were there at the same time, all I can say is if you read details about the hotel you get exactly what it lists. All food/ meals were great. Service prompt and very friendly. Rooms were clean and maid very helpful. Kids entertainment? For two boys and a girl the large pool, floats, water pistols, table football, pool and table tennis, oh and tortoises were plenty enough entertainment. ( Isn't it up to the parents to make sure your kids are entertained!) Our children and us can't wait to return. There is just one thing I would change and that is to make it non smoking round the bar and tables.

When we arrived at the hotel I seen all smilse from all the staff all friendly. The hotel was extremely clean and all well maintained. The food was well presented and all ways tasted nice never burnt it was excellent for bar food and evening meals the breakfast was mostly cheese and Turkish meat with boiled eggs and cereal but was very nice it was the same as most hotels. The pool was very big and cleaned daily plenty of beds no fighting or getting up early to get them. There was plenty of activities in the evening which were Turkish night bingo quiz night karoke witch were all excellent nights. The standered rooms are very nice clean and very comfortable its £70 a week for deleuxe rooms but it is worth it because you get a TV air con and a safebox included. You will be asked upon arrival about this the rooms are very clean and cleaned on a day to day basis. George urger javw (nani) all had a great sense of humor and made the holiday livley and fun and would like to thank them for that. The music was played to acomate guest it wasn't played early in the mourning and wasn't played very late at night and not loud etheir. We will be returning next year because it has a nice feeling and George javw (nani) and urgur had all helped us to make this decision will be rturningbnezt year

Just returned from a lovely week at the Celay hotel. The staff were really nice & friendly & everywhere was nice & clean. The food was nice & we could always find something that we liked. The only thing wrong was the entertainment.......football on the t.v everynight !
The Turkish night, Quiz & Bingo was advertised on the board but never happened & the fitness centre wasn't really useable as some of the machines had been taken apart & the Jacuzzi wasn't in use.
The wasps at breakfast were a nuisance as they were all over the food & guests.
All in all it was a nice relaxing break & I think it's best suited to couples or families who just want to chill out..

We have just returned to the UK following a 12 day stay at the Celay Hotel. It was our first holiday in Turkey and certainly will not be our last. We cannot thank the staff enough for ensuring that our stay was enjoyable and that our every need was attended to. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Our compliments to the chef. The owners were always available and spent most of their day mingling with guests and ensuring that the staff were happy in their jobs. Even though we stayed in a standard room, it was extremely comfortable and perfect for our needs.
The staff were well versed in advising us of places to visit and subsequent prices. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
A special thanks to George. Nani and Ugur for their sense of humour - made us feel at home.

Myself and my friend have recently returned from a two week stay at the Celay. We were bed and breakfast and stayed in one of the hotels 'standard' rooms (room 323). Although we were shown one of the 'Premium' rooms, which are very well designed, we decided to stay in our standard room. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and also pool area, it was very spacious and bright and modern. Amazing value for the price we paid. The breakfasts were plentiful and all the food was lovely and fresh. We ate daily at the bar from their snack menu and every meal we had was excellent. (You have got to try the homemade chips, they are delicious). The service we received was fantastic, all of the staff are polite and hardworking. Every part of the hotel and grounds is kept spotlessly clean. The prices for food and drinks within the hotel are very reasonable and there is something for all tastes. The pool area is cleaned every single morning, this includes all of the individual sunbeds and mattresses too! If you like it a bit quieter round the pool then I would recommend a sunbed near the Jaccuzzi, we took full advantage of the Jaccuzzi most days, it was amazing. Overall, this hotel definately deserves another star or two. We paid 3 star prices and ended up having a 5 star holiday. Thankyou to all the staff at the Celay for contributing to our wonderful two weeks, we will be returning next year for definate.

Just got home from 10 days at the Celay (rooms 126 &134). All of the staff Nanni, George, Joseph and not forgetting the manager Uger were fantastic and could not do enough for you. Upgraded to deluxe room and had no regrets. Will certainly be back!!
