“Fantastic holiday, quiet stunning location, tatsy food and friendly staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The hotel has a rustic charm with cobbled walkways and lots of wrought iron and stone walls with pretty gardens and magnificent views, so quiet and relaxing, just stunning. It is set amongst the mountains with many beautiful views in a quiet area surrounded by villas and up a big hill. The views make it worth the walk up the hill! We did it with 2 kids and 2 babies in prams plenty of days so it can be done if you're reasonably fit. It's not as bad as it looks when you're walking it. Loads of taxis about if you don't feel like walking it.
Great pool for kids and they loved the slide as did my husband and I! Small pool for younger kids is fine and adult only pool for complete relaxation or you could pop into the small spa for a treatment.
The restaurant's large glass doors opened up onto the pool area and you could also sit outside. The bar was beside it with pool and mountain views. Drinks expensive compared to other places and it was easy to run up a bill on the hotel card system so keep paying it off. Cocktails were 12.50TL so still much cheaper than home. The cans of juice at the shop were 3.50TL and magnum ice creams 4.80TL (but everywhere seemed to make their money on cold drinks and ice lollys). The bar was a bit slow too so be patient. The food was amazing, mainly Turkish and really delicious, freshly cooked and tasty. Loads of delicious salads, BBQ every night and freshly cooked pancakes or eggs by a chef at breakfast. As like all buffet restaurants there were times where lots of people came at once and there would be ques/run out of things but that's what happens anywhere. The staff were so nice, always happy to get you things, just ask nicely. If something ran out they would go and replenish it straight away. You can always go for an early breakfast or a late dinner to avoid the rush. They have 2 nights entertainment a week that was ok, we have twin babies (18 months)so didn't care about entertainment as they were off to bed. Our 2 older boys (age 6 and 8) made lots of friends and played away with the other kids there. All the guests we spoke to were lovely and friendly and always took time to chat away. The kids never got bored even though it's not a huge place. There is a small baby swing park behind the bar with little tikes equipment. At the bar there's pool, table tennis, air hockey, table football. Behind the adult pool is a tennis court if you stand the heat!
We got connecting rooms over looking the adult pool and mountain, simply decorated but nice enough and plenty of space considering there was 6 of us, 2 cots and 2 prams! The air con is free and is essential and the mini bar is a nice touch for a 3 star hotel and great to have cold drinks at hand. Also when we arrived late there was a man who took our luggage and showed us to our room and again when we left helped us with our luggage onto the bus.
There are a few small bars, restaurants within 5 minute walk down hill (evita bar has happy hour 6pm - 9pm and has half price drinks and free pool and the supermarket at the cross road is cheaper than Azda at the bottom of the hill and sells loads of things) or a 10 min walk right down the hill to the main road and then 15 minutes to Hisaronu that is packed with bars, restaurants and nightlife go karts and small funfair. 10tl to get taxi back approx £3. There is a free bus to a private beach at the lagoon that has it's own restaurant, bar, sun beds, boats etc. The water is shallow and there is sand. They make their money back as you're there all day spending money there. From there you can walk to the other beach in approx 20 minutes. Oludeniz is lovely too and the beach is beautiful although it has small stones and not sand. A taxi was 23TL and your ears pop going back up the mountain! Loads of places selling excursions in Hisaronu and Oludeniz and easy to get the price down so do try! We did a boat trip that was amazing, the sea is so beautiful and lots of fun with a great team working on the boat(take plenty of cash for drinks/ice lollys/photos. We also done the tandem paragliding which was superb, what a view! Felt very safe and not nervous at all. Both were booked with Pegus on the beach at Oludeniz. All the Turkish people were so friendly no hard sell anywhere but I later heard that by law they cannot hassle tourists.
Overall I give this hotel 8/10. We had a great holiday and hope you do too!

My wife and I have just returned from the Green Anatolia and we have really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated in an idyllic location in the Turkish hills and caters perfectly for a couple looking for a quiet break.

The food selection was brilliant and my wife was able to eat without a problem (she has a gluten allergy and is vegetarian so she usually has a problem.)

The bonus of an 'adults only' pool is the outstanding feature of the hotel as families are able to let their children play freely without the worry of them upsetting those who have not got children with them.

The hotel is at the top of a hill so I would not advise this if you are disabled but there is a taxi rank at the end of the road and it is only 10TL into Hisoranu.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a week at the Green Anatolia Hotel. We had a lovely time, we were checked in quickly when we arrived late and shown to our room. The room was a good size for us, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. We were also exited to hear air conditioning is included - a huge plus for us. The style of the accommodation is very Mediterranean and looks fab. There are three pools, one toddlers/baby pool, big main pool with one water slide and one adults only pool. The adults only pool was a real bonus for us as a young couple, it was in the sun all day so heated well.
The food is a buffet style, breakfast is fruit, yoghurt, eggs, sausages, cereal etc. and you can order an omelette or pancakes to be made in front of you. There are a selection of juices and hot drinks. The evening meal doesn't include a drink but there is a good selection every night, soup for starter, selection of meat meals, vegetables, rice, chip and a BBQ everynight with different meat or fish. I am gluten free and pescatarian and found there was lots of options for me, which is good for other fussy eaters!
The shop in the hotel is overpriced and the hotel warns you not take any food/drinks in from outside the hotel, however we didn't have any problems taking our own water and snacks in from outside, the staff didn't seem to care too much.
I would recommend this accommodation to couples and families who like a quiet atmosphere. There is only entertainment twice a week so if you are wanting more you will have to go into Hisoranu which is about 3/4 mile walk down hill. However something to bear in mind is this hotel is at the top of a hill, if you have problems walking this may not be for you. The walk is okay on an evening, but is hard work during the day. A taxi from Hisoranu is 10 Lira.
There is a free bus at 10am every day to take you to Seahorse Beach at the Blue Lagoon, the beach is gorgeous and well worth getting the free bus down. The bus returns at 3pm and drops you right back at the hotel which we were really impressed with.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would certainly return to that part of Turkey.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and really used to like the hotel but on our last visit …. and it definitely will be our last ….. you couldn't help but notice it had gone down hill and had many scruffy, broken sun beds and umbrellas. I can overlook certain things as the hotel is in a beautiful, quiet location but by far the worst thing we observed and experienced was the wrath of one the female owner / managers. She is unbelievably rude to guests if you inadvertently break any of her rules. She has absolutely no customer service skills and does not appear to care about setting an example to her staff. The only thing I will miss about the hotel is the Turkish Bath downstairs - by far the best we have had in the area, run by a very professional guy - he is the exception. There are plenty of other local hotels where the staff are smiling, friendly and cannot do enough for you and we would rather spend our money there.

just returned from a 2 week stay with husband and 3 year old.
The hotel is lovely. The grounds are very pretty and pools warm. Rooms are spacious and airy and I eventually got used to the very firm bed. The food is buffet style, goid quality and lots of choice. staff for the most part are fine although the older barman was painfully slow at times, one day we waited 45 mins to order lunch despite asking 3 times.

the main pool is 150cm deep in its shallow end which isn't ideal for many but most coped with the aid of arm bands etc. the toddler pool is 40cm but many children cut their feet while playing round it...take water shoes. the water slide is fun and the adult pool quiet. The hotel guests are mostly British and it's small enough that the children soon find friends to play with.

the turkish bath is excellent and well worth a visit.

it is a lot of hotel for the money...and here's the but.

cleaning of the rooms it hit and miss at best. some days one bed was made but not the other. we never received enough towels and the toilet was rarely cleaned.
mealtimes got worse as the school holidays took hold, as dinner doesn't start until 8 the whole hotel descends the second the doors are open and the queues were rediculous. it wasnt at all easy with a 3 year old and towards the end of our stay we found ourselves eating out more to avoid the bun fight. shame, because the food was enjoyable but as others have said dishes ran out. Don't expect to find pudding by 9pm.
The parasols are and accident waiting to happen. the bases leak so the parasols frequently fall over in the wind. Add to that that many of them are broken and have metal spikes poking out of them and it's only a matter of time before someone looses and eye. one child recieved a scratch to the face when a parasol fell on him. we complained to reception and were told to leave the broken ones in a pile...6 days later and they were still there as we left for home.

Broken parasols and queues at dinner should not ruin an otherwise lovely stay but they will leave you wondering why hotel management dont just sort it out. simple fixes could make it a perfect place which is frustrating.

we had a lovely holiday but I would not stay here with a small child again. All parents of under 5s we spoke to agreed it is not family friendly.

After arriving at 5am (late) the reception staff we very kind and quick to check me in. The hotel is a little dated, but the food was fantastic (now on a diet again) the drinks were as cheap as going to a bar in town, and the staff were very friendly, with their limited knowledge of English, which made it even more fun. I found my room was cleaned every day, with towels changed daily. Unfortunately only stayed a week, but looking forward to going back in September for another 2 weeks.
A holiday is what you make it! but this hotel certainly went a long way to help you make it a time to remember.

Room Tip: If you like a little sleep in the afternoon, then don't have a room facing the pool. Although i...
