“Fantastic Holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Just got back from a wonderful week at the Aes Club. The hotel was modern and clean and the food was great with plenty of choice. I liked the location - in a quite spot but with busier resorts easily accessible. All the staff were fantastic but some deserve special mentions; the Animation Team - Cagri (Charlie), Sophie, Cihan and Hande were so friendly and helpful and for Seref, nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Just got back from Turkey after staying 12 nights at the Aes. The hotel is located just off the main strip of ovacik is it's nice and quite. And only 15 mins walk from hisanaru. Or you can get a taxi for 10 lira or 2.75 lira per person on a bus.

The rooms at the Aes are clean and tide and well equipped. As the hotel is only a year old it's like new. The staff are great. Sharrif should have not done any more for us so a big thank you to him. They have plenty to do through the day for all ages thanks to the entertainment team. Charlie, sophie and chian kept you entertained through the day and arranged a different themed night every evening. Lots of different dance shows and a little disco for the kids and adults.

If you fancy some treatments. Go see the guys in the spa. Hikmet, Martin and fayzi aka apache are really good at what the do and very friendly. We thought they were going to be expensive as it was based in the hotel. But after looking around their prices are the same and you actually get better facilities and a better scrub and massage.

The food at the hotel is really good for an all inclusive package. It actually has flavour. Lots of different dishes, salads, starters and desserts. Breakfast is served from 7- 11. Then the food court opens by the pool for lunch. Where they do kebabs burgers and grilled chicken. Salads etc. It's open till 5. The rastaraunt opens at 12 -2 and 7 -10 for lunch and dinner again if you fancy good food rather then the burgers etc. Afternoon tea and cakes are served at 5 and midnight soup is at 11:30 so you won't go hungry and drink available all day.

If you fancy a the beach then go to the blue lagoon in oludeniz. There is a free shuttle bus that leaves at 10:30 and brings you back at 4:30.

If you fancy eating out the check out del boys in hisanaru. I promise you it's the best place to eat. We ate out a few times and by far it's the best and the prices are the same as other places but the quality of the food is 100 times better.

Also lots of excursions to do. Do the jeep safari and make sure you have water guns and talk of the town is excellent show and dinner.

So overall a great hotel with friendly staff and lots to do in a good location. What more can you ask for. We'll definitely will be going back

Room Tip: We stayed in the attic room which is good. But if your tall you could bang your head on one side of...

What promised to be a 1 week 'lads holiday' became a wonderfully relaxed experience that I would recommend again and again. Our low student budget would normally expect to encounter certain downfalls in accommodation, but we honestly struck gold with Aes Club. The rooms were faultless, comfortable and modern and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to enquire as the mental health of any guests criticising the food - a perfect blend of traditional Turkish cuisine and home comforts, with more than 7 choices at any given meal - and that's not including the salad/desert bar! It's actually hard to pinpoint a time of day when they weren't serving free food! The area itself is wonderful - walking distance from the local bars and shops and such cheap transport to Oludeniz. Charlie and Sophie were incredible at making sure everyone was having fun - imagine a resort that caters for young children, older residents AND outgoing young adults! The pool along with the rest of the resort was always in immaculate condition - would visit again in a heartbeat! Thankyou Aes!
(P.S. any worries about the weather should be ignored - if you do spy a raincloud, it almost instantly dissipates over the neighbouring mountain - giving you 24 hour sunshine!)

Room Tip: close to the bar can be a little noisy, but it never stays on too late

Booked this hotel last minute with Travel Republic. As an extra they offered a Free Turkish bath, which both me and my wife enjoyed very much. The transfer was about 1 hour 30 minutes however the A2B Bus company made us wait a further 1 hour 15 minutes until other flights arrived which filled the bus up, this was our only negative point on a holiday which was excellent!!
The Hotel was very modern, smart, clean, great food, and friendly staff. Little extras such as being shown around the hotel upon arrival, free safe, free water in mini bar, free Wi-Fi, beach towels, free shuttle bus which takes you to Billy Beach Bar St Nickolas beach on the lagoon. Beds and parasols only 7 TL each.
The reps were very good and looked after us for the whole week. Hisaranu is only a short walk 10-15 minutes, and is very busy with plenty of shops and restaurants.
We would recommend this hotel and the area.

Just back, had an ok time. Hotel itself is nice and modern with well kept grounds. room was perfect for a family of 4 with a small balcony and separate room for the kids. I would guess only 1/4 of guests were Brits. Entertainment was so so - 4 professional shows in 11 nights ranging from 20-40mins and the other nights the animation team hosted karaoke, Mr Aes, Miss Aes, Mr&Mrs Aes etc. Entertainment for the children was pretty poor and that's why we won't return. During the day(after asking)they opened up the mini club, which incidentally is situated beside some sort of sewage station and is rather smelly! A DVD was put on for the kids and the play dough was taken out-not exactly what a 9&11 year old wants to do on hol!! In fairness though it would have been difficult to organise proper games for them because of the language difficulties between differing nationalities. At night they collected the kids and did a 15 min dance routine with them(head and shoulders, birdy song etc) but it didn't vary at all from one day to the next. Had such high expectations for Aes after reading all the positive reviews here but came away a bit disappointed. I would recommend this hotel for couples and friends who want a nice base to explore the area but not for families.
