“Great place surrended by trees and next to the sea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

It is definitely a relaxing hotel wihich is peaceful and clean. Staff is very kind and helpful. There is not many places that I can say that I want to be back, but this is the place thay I hope to go there again. Sea is clean and calm though beach is not that big to get many people. Pool is an alternative to relax and drink cold or hot drinks which is provided at all times by professional staff. There is also a relaxing pool for those who does not want to be disturbed by music or any other noise. Food is good quality and standart so do not expect extaordinary selection but plenty of diffrent pasta, salads, meats, fish, fruit...etc. And please note that evening shows are really great so my conratulation for those who organise and performs.

A comfortable hotel but no way near 5 star standard, our rooms were not cleaned adequately, with toilets and floors not mopped or hoovered daily. Food choice is good, you are spoilt for choice in the buffet, however the dessert option was poor, not fresly prepared at all, tasted like frozen deserts from Iceland and no fresh fruit juice offered at breakfast. This hotel lacked class and elegance with pumping music at all times of day and night 12pm so if you want a relaxing night, this is not the place. The view is however stunning and the private beach is pleasant, staff are friendly and the resort is large, lots of facilities and there is always something to do.

We booked this holiday through Thomson's and it was wow from start to finish this hotel has something for all ages from early morning till late at night.
Room : 1st allocated one on the 1st floor loved the room but wasn't keen on the view. So the next morning spoke to the rep ( Michelle )who got us a room on the 2nd floor with a pool and sea view one double room with a separate twin room adjoining two bathrooms with power showers in each 2 flat screen tvs with plenty to watch if you like a quiet time carpeted throughout plenty of wardrobe space the maids came in everyday spotless
free safe extra pillows without having to ask.

Food : Normally eat out a couple of times when we are away no need this time food outstanding something different at every meal and all the restaurant's so clean.

Bars : we counted 7 in total so plenty of different places to relax lovely beer and wine

Entertainment : Was on all day fro 10am standard was very high again as we only travelled as a couple we didn't use the kids club but this looked really good for the younger ones we preferred the beach bar something different on every night.

Overall : We loved the place and will defiantly book for next year thank you Thomson's

We had not really planned to go away at the end of 2012 but booked this all inclusive deal. We flew from Bournemouth international and arrived late at night. Having not visited Turkey before we had a terrible ride on a nasty packed coach for nearly a couple of hours. The coach dropped off at various average hotels and I was nervous! Then we reached our hotel! Wow! What a place! The reception is huge like an aircraft hanger and the presentation was the best I had seen in a large hotel. We swiftly went to our room which was two rooms bedroom/livingroom and a balcony. Day two I awake and throw back the curtains to the most amazing views pine clad hills and azure sea in the bay..beautiful! The hotel is set in large grounds with a large figure eight shaped pool and dappled pine tree shade leading to a private beach and bar area. The food was a banquet, the evening shows good, live music or DJ at the beach, (watery drinks but that's all inclusive for you) we had a really fantastic holiday.

My wife and I stayed here with our two children aged 1 and 3. We booked through Thompson and on the whole had an enjoyable week. Having been on a number of Thomson 5* resorts in Cape Verde, Kenya and Portugal this did not compare however it was still suitable for our needs.
The room was a large single room in the main hotel. It was a good size with a single bed, a double bed and a travel cot. Our room didn't have the greatest view but we only used it to dry clothing or to watch a film when the children were in bed on an evening. It was plenty warm enough to do this in the absence of a seperate lounge. The aircon wasn't the best but did a job of making the room comfortable if not cool.
Check in was smooth, efficient and much appreciated after the 2hr transfer via minibus from the airport. Make sure you have water for the journey. Checkout wasn't the best with no rep to help and when the exchange bus was over an hour late it was slightly worrying but not the fault of the hotel. They were helpful in contacting the rep when requested.
The food was plentiful with something we liked every meal from the main restaurant. We didn't use the a la carte restaurants since choosing a bit of this and that is easier for the children. The dining room itself was large enough for the busy periods with plenty of high chairs so whilst having to occasionally look for a table, didn't have to wait for one. There are also outdoor seats and I would recommend looking at the food in the evening outdoor servery. It's there you will find the ice creams also.
Timing of food is ok but if you miss lunch you can get a snack/meal from the pool bar however after that ends no food is available for a few hours before evening meal so don't get caught out as we did on one occasion.
The pools are nice. Large pool is all quite deep 1.5m so not ideal for young none swimmers, however our children really enjoyed the larger baby pool in kids town which was part sheltered by tall trees. We were always able to get two beds as the pool attendents were great. Kids town also have a climbing frame with slides etc, high ropes but we did not use these.
The drinks package from morning till 11pm included soft drinks, fresh juice, hot drinks, efes lager, some (limited) local spirits (no rum), and house red (nice), rose (ok) and white (not great) wine. There were a list of cocktails to have also. The extra payment drinks include your usual named brands. I thought it was excellent that cold bottled water is readily available and without having to ask you could serve yourself from several fridges.
General cleanliness of the resort is good. Daily room cleaning is the norm however our room generally was scheduled to be cleaned early afternoon which was nap time for the children so this meant as to not disturb their sleep our room rarely got cleaned. Towels were changed however and bins emptied.
The best things about this hotel is the location once there as a short dolmus bus can be caught from the bottom of the road 100m away to both marmaris (2tl pp) and icmeler (2.50tl pp). The evening entertainment was also excellent. Every night had a professional act of dancing, acrobatics etc. The amphitheatre seating meant that views were not inhibited however we made sure we got there 10 mins before to ensure front row seats since we had a pram for the little one. There was no bar at the entertainment but you can take drink in plastics container in. The show finished at 10pm and then went to the brack bar disco. This wss excellent for us as we went to the room and was never disturbed by those wanting to continue partying.
Overall this was a good family holiday although as in my title, owing to previous experiences, the things on offer and general quality of meals etc I would say this is mire 4* than 5*. Don't be put off however as it's a nice place.

On arrival at 12am we were swiftly taken by buggy up to our room, with our luggage! The room was perfect, a villa room on the ground floor, which was nicely presented with a flat screen tv ect. The main pool is very busy with children but the little gem that is the relax pool in block b (newish I believe) is amazing - just ask Michelle where it is! Michelle is brilliant also! And the VIP blue cruise with thomson was also fabulous! The shows in the evening were wonderful as was the beach bar and the extra strong (3/4 schnapps 1/4 lemonade) drinks haha! The food also was ok I'm quite picky but I managed not to starve ha! Entertainment team were wonderful especially booboo who always made an effort with us and enjoyed good banter! Hotel locations wonderful - definatley go to icemeler market and also into marmaris for bargains :) the only downside would be there was no late checkout available - and we were allocated a room to quickly shower in which was awful, stunk of smoke with hair all over a wet bathroom floor. We told the receptionist the room wasn't very nice and she was a bit snappy but that was our only minor quibble! Ignore petty reviews as it really is wonderful!

Having stayed at many a Thomson 4* and 5* hotel, this was no comparison! On arrival we were sent to a small, cramped room, on a kind of wasteland at the rear of the hotel, with peeling paint, bits hanging off etc. Not good. We managed to change our room next day, but we insisted on going in the Villa area of the resort, which is nice. (note to less experienced travellers..never put up with a bad room...ask to change.) Fresh food was often poor (bruised, old fruit and veg all the way throughout a 14 night stay!) but there was the occasional gem (curry..nice). The a la carte restaurant was also v poor. The tree covered area of the hotel is lovely, and the adult pool beautiful - but the room was so badly equipped, we couldn't unpack for two weeks (no drawers!), so three of us lived out of suitcases. Not 5*! I have to say, the rep was very nice, and informed us that 5* in Turkey, was not the same as Spain or Caribbean. Agreed, but Thomson 5* should be 5* throughout their brochure. We spent over the odds and was disappointed. To be totally fair though, the Kids club for our 4 year old was very good indeed thanks to the 2 brit girls (Kit Kat Kate, and Jaffa Cake Jordan) who were among the best we've seen in Thomson Kids clubs. I think the cleaners have also been slated a bit on these reviews, but our cleaner was great. Another point for local knowledge, one of our group was unwell, but we were informed that we weren't in Europe and our E111 wouldn't apply. Know this before you go. Enjoy the holiday if you're going, but don't expect 5*, it's 4 at best.
