A simple, clean, friendly and pretty hotel in a great location close to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff, though a bit of a question mark against the male receptionist whose smile muscles didn't work. He was polite and helpful though. Be aware location is a bit tricky for access late at night when bollards are down. Our transfer driver gave up the ghost but we knew where we were going, so walked all of the 50 remaining metres to the front door. We had two rooms. Corner room had a more spacious bathroom and was cooler. Other room had a bit more storage (useful tall cupboard with shelves). Plenty of coathangers. Air con much appreciated. Hairdrier in bathroom. Kept beautifully clean by charming staff. Loved how they turned the towels and sheets into boats and snakes. Rooms on the small side (but by no means cramped). Walls painted white with a tint of turquoise, drawers and wardrobes pale turquoise. Curtains a bit too floral for my taste, but it grew on me in a Mamma Mia kind of way. Small but useful balcony. Pool on the small side but a well-maintained sun trap. Never saw anyone go without a sunbed. Several overhead canopies you can pull out when the temperature soars. Occasional poolside service. Large bottle of water 4 lira. First week a bit too quiet and middle-aged, second week a bit more loud and lairy when a big family group arrived, but easy to wander to the beach or next door to the Prince (bigger pool - buy drinks or ice creams to be polite) if you fancy a change. Maestro restaurant food really good. Beautiful setting. Friendly and professional staff. 15 per cent discount for residents and the added bonus of a lovely, cooling, water misting system when it gets really hot. Would definitely go again to use as a base to explore. I thought the breakfast was ideal for the climate but not to everyone's taste. Choose from varied Greek (but with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes ) buffet and don't bother with the synthetic orange juice. Pay extra (7/8 lira I think) for extras like English breakfast. Pay extra for safe and fridge. We managed with a laree of water from one of the supermarket's on the opposite sid.e of the street. Really lovely hotel anv will definiitiley think about comin soon.
