“Will def be back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Just back and what a great time we had. Staff really friendly and helpful.Cliff works hard and organises his team well in the restaurant and bar. Roberto is the dance master and full of energy which motivates the younger guys. Gerrard is the guy who with a smile on his face and remembers all the guests names.
There is a bit of pushing staying at the hotel for food and entertainment but this is only done as these guys rely on tips n commission to supplement their 960TL monthly wage.( approx £340).
The food is good reasonably priced and as mentioned eat there and free breakfast next day.
They are looking for guests to maybe try a couple of nights, this was no problem for us as the
entertainment and atmosphere were terrific.
Sun beds is a problem and people "blockbooking" at 3 in the morning was out of order! Nothing is done about it and this is something the hotel management need to sort out as,if nothing is done more and more people do it.
The pool and rooms are clean and the location is just a short stroll from the centre of town.
We will def be back as we loved the hotel ,the entertainment and the staff and had a wonderful holiday

we have just arrived back from having a brilliant holiday, from the minute you arrive the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, the food is good and if you buy a main meal[ which is 25 - 30 lira approx. £8-10 you get soup and mezzie and ice cream free] you also get a free breakfast {full English ] or anything off the snack menu for free.the entertainment is great ,the staff lead by,cliff, gerrard and Roberto do everything to make your stay a happy stay. the rooms are basic and clean
there was just one slight problem of guests reserving sunbeds but not returning until mid afternoon and people getting up during the night usually between 3 and 6 am to save sunbeds only to return between 2 and 3 in the afternoon.there isn't enough for everyone so if you wanted a sunbed at 8 am there was none left so had to either sit on balcony or go to the beach.this is so unfair and selfish.may I make a suggestion of no reserving sunbeds as those who want a lay in till luchtime can let others use the sunbeds .
overall absolutely brilliant

We have been using this hotel now for 2 years ,we have family who live in the area and always recommend the ekinci to friends. The staff are friendly but genuine and not over pushy the Indian meals are excellent the balti is better than any I have had here, pool area is spotless and the rooms more than adequate .The only negative thing I can add about the place is that friends have had difficulty booking for September and luckily got a cancellation .I noticed that cliff has had a few comments made about him however he is a very nice chap once you get to know him .

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Ekinci this time we went in a larger group of 14 after going as a family of 4 last year. The accommodation is basic and clean but what really sets this place apart from others is the staff. The guys led by Cliff, Robert and Gerrard are simply amazing. The effort they put into making sure you have a fantastic holiday is incredible given the long hours they work. Cliff took a bit of criticism last year for being a bit pushy over trying to get people to eat in the restaurant and moaning at people for eating food from outwith around the pool, there was none of that this year. He is really is a lovely man that goes out of his way to make sure your family are looked after at meal times and was just finding his feet last year in his first year.

As many of you will know who have been to icmeler before it is common for waiters to put on dance shows, well this year the guys here were better than any others we seen and the food was also very good although we also had some very good meals down the town in Majestic and Venice

To sum up if you are a family that likes to have fun and let your hair down without feeling the need to go crazy then this is the place to come.

when we first arrived we were greeted by memo and cliff who took our bags to our rooms and didnt expect a tip.. (first time ever). the entertainment was great which was on every second night, and we never got pushed to have a meal or drinks. the staff was so friendly and got on with them really well.... however we were there for 2 weeks and only think the towels and bed sheets got changed twice which wasnt great. the bins got changed everyday though. apart from that i will definatley be going back to ekinci and would recommend it to everyone!!

Room Tip: rooms at the back are usually quieter

We had such a great time here in may that we will be booking here again next year, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had so much fun. The rooms were clean, food was lovely and exactly what we needed after our long journey. really easy access to the town centre as well no more than 10mins stroll max :) and plenty of little shops close by, and tanas (supermarkets) within 10 mins.

couldn't recommend this place more, perfect for all ages

Well, what can I say! We arrived after a long hefty 14 hours of being awake for travelling to and from airports, when we were met by mamo and cliff, who were more than happy to help carry some luggage to our rooms. We simply dumped our bags in the rooms, and headed to Bahamas restaurant/bar (inside the hotel grounds). We found the food here to be really good, so we chose to eat here a couple of other nhts and most breakfasts!!! As our two weeks began to fall shorter and shorter on us, we dreaded leaving (we left this morning). The staff do not simply serve your food and drink and leave you to your own devices. They really do get to know you, and like hearing how different people live, wherever you are from. The entertainment was good as well, they had some really thrilling people in! The rooms were fairly basic but our room was cleaned when we first arrived, although seemed to fail to be cleaned much more than every 4-5 days. However, this did not make bother me a lot because I do not normally change my bed sheets or towels every day at home! All in all, ekinci palace is an extremely welcoming hotel where good fun and laughtercan be guaranteed!Thank you to all the staff mamo, izzet, cliff, Ali, Gerard, Roberto, nehat and essin. We loved our holiday here, and have already began discussing whether we can afford to come in October again - fingers crossed!
