Had a great holiday but we where 4 1/2 hours on the transfers as ekinci is last on the list :| but on they way home they got us our own bus to cut transfer time which was good. On ariving to the hotel we where on the top floor which had a brick wall instead of a balcony and my boyfriend went to look over and tiles from the roof fell off and hit him on the shoulder/ head lol but appart from the the hotel is amazin as we where hardly in the room!
Icmeler is definetly better to say as it is 2 mins from marmaris clubs ect but is so much nicer to stay in!! Hotel is 10 min walk to the beach
The waiters are great although they didnt speak to me much they spoke to me throuh my boyfriend but i think thats the culture
also if you buy dinner you get a free breaky the next day and the food in the hotel and outside is amazing!!
Pool slide is fantastic!! Had such a laugh on it..
Overall great hotel and its so cheap!!

I have stayed in numerous self catering establishments in Turkey and I would say this is above average. You have to pay for air conditioning and the safe deposit box but found this to be cheaper than the usual, and you are supplied with only 1 toilet roll. The apartments are located in the old village about 10 minutes walk to the centre and about 5 more to the beach if you walk down the main road , or it's slightly quicker down the side streets or by the side of the canal. The apartments are split into 4 blocks none with a lift . I would recommend 1st or 2 nd floors and if you want it a little quieter request block E or G as these are situated away from the pool which at nights is where the entertainment is and the music can get quite loud , but is turned off between 12.00 and 12.30 at night. The rooms themselves are clean and basic with 2 electric rings , electric kettle and a fridge. Air conditioning is in the bedroom only but if you keep the bedroom door open it keeps the whole apartment cool. The size is adequate for 2 adults and 2 children but I think you would find them a little cramped for 4 adults. They are cleaned every day and the towels and bed linen are changed frequently. All the staff are friendly and helpful and yes you do get the bar staff trying to get you to go to their entertainment nights , but they are never in your face and only ask the once. The Bahamas Bar serves good food and is no more expensive than the eateries outside and in August 2011 when we stayed there if you bought a main course at night you got your breakfast upto 11.00 the next day free and just paid for the drinks. There is a small mini market on site open 24 hours for all your basics, water , milk, bread , toilet rolls etc , and other supermarkets are close by. You can get the Dolmus into Marmaris at the end of the road for 2.50 Lires , and you are about 10 minutes walk from Icmeler's Wednesday market which is huge, and well worth a visit. The pool is large and 1.50 metres deep all over , and there is a slide open daily from 12.00 to 17.00, ample sunbeds and " bean bags " around the pool although you still get the usual sunbed savers who never turn up until after lunch to claim their beds. Overhaul this is property is in a good location , clean , with friendly and helpful staff

Room Tip: Request 1st or 2nd floors a,d blocks E or G if you want to be quieter

We stayed here for 2 weeks in may and after a few visits to Turkey before this was my best holiday! The hotel is located inbetween the main town center and the old village which is perfect as you can go to either without having to walk too far. We arrived pretty early in the morning and we greated by the staff straight away which was really nice and friendly. We noticed there were 2 computers with free Internet which is great for keeping in touch!
We stayed in the corner block which we'd read on here had badly designed rooms and thought straight away it was going to be a nightmare. We were taken straight to the top floor and given one of the 2 rooms which at first we hated (half the room had sloping roof which was awkward for my 6ft boyfriend!) but after awhile we thought we'd give it a go as it was quirky and different from the usual. Before we left to go home we were talking to the couple in the other room to see if there's was the same and they had a bigger room than us but we had a bigger balcony so we were pleased with that.
As we've been to turkey before we weren't looking to do many trips as we have done the stuff we wanted so we were hoping for a decent hotel/bar and we were definitely impressed! All the staff were very friendly and would always take the time to ask about your day or just have a chat with you, but as soon as your food was ready they would always leave you in peace which was great. The food was the only thing that was as great as the rest of the holiday it wasn't bad at all but there wasn't a lot of choice which was disappointing, however if you have your evening meal at the hotel you get your breakfast for free which is a massive plus to anyone wanting to save a bit cash! There was a few different themed nights throughout the week and we tried them all the first week such as Turkish night, karaoke, show night and so on they do repeat them each week so if your there for more than a week you might wanna do a few one week then the rest the next. They were all really entertaining and free except for Turkish night which was still pretty cheap and you got your meal out of it.
During the day we spent a lot of time by the pool which was a pretty decent size and even had a smaller pool for the kids and a slide. If we weren't by the pool we spent the day out and about in the main town wandering around but we always went for a snack at cafe Ann which has a great selection of snack and cakes and is great value and you get always get a lot for your money. For our evening meal if we weren't in the hotel we go to our favourite resterent the Waterfall which is located near the centre of town and has the best food and service you could ever ask for.
Overall we couldn't have asked for more from this holiday maybe we are a bit biased because we see turkey as a second home but can't see how anyone wouldn't enjoy themselves here!

BEST APPARTMENTS IN ICMELER!! I stayed at the Ekinci Palace on a recommendation from my sister in law(SHE GOING AGAIN IN 2 WEEKS) and was not disappointed, they are the best appartments i have stayed in icmeler and is my third different appt,i no longer need to search as these appatments are the best in my view certainly for the price which was very cheap as others are in icmeler.
The staff are excellent especially Gerard(supervisor) who is the nicest, friendliest, most attentive guy you could hope to meet at your accomodation, nothing was ever any trouble for him, night or day,an absolute credit to himself and his employers,TOP MAN!!! The staff all enjoy a good laugh by the pool and restaurant,Ebo being the one to watch out for as he's partial to pushing people in the pool all in good spirit tho,he got his comuppence big time which was hilarious.(he took a dip unexpectedly fully clothed lets say but he just laughed, quality!!)
The food is excellent and very inexpensive and although we had done turkish nights elsewhere in icmeler theirs is a must do,food was qualityand entertainment good.
We are in our early forties, from bonnie scotland with two boys Kyle 13 and Lucas 8 and our kids loved the place and staff especially the slide in the pool which gave them endless hours of fun and laughs.
Music playing all day by pool but seriouly need to crank the bass down and i love ma dance music but da bass was too much.(the only negative.)
The appatments were a standard size and cleaned every day with clean towels, pool view, what more do you want?
Reception staff very helpful and courteous, pool great size, separate pool for slide aswell.Think that covers it all:),highly recommend for anyone with a sense of humour and looking for aquality holiday,.
WILL DEFO BE BACK,WATCH OUT EBO WE COMIN TO GETCHYA!!
Enjoy, hope you found this review helpful:)

Room Tip: pool view room,1st or 2nd floor in same block as reception,if you like going to bed before 1am pick...
