A fine restaurant with wonderful waiting staff and excellent chefs. We have dined here many times and this occasion was for Sunday lunch when the menu is a-la-carte (rather than the option of menu-del-dia on other days except Tuesdays when it is closed) The lunch started with canapes and bread with dips, chicken and vegetable soup, followed by a lovely sorbet. The main course was Chateaubriand for two. The large piece of fillet was excellent, seared in the kitchen and carved to order at the table, then cooked by yourself on a salt coated hot plate smeared with beef fat at the table. Melt in the mouth meat, finally cooked as you would wish it. Desert was delicious, strawberries/chopped mint and balsamic sauce and blackberry ice cream all washed down with a very nice bottle of Spanish Rose. We will be back!!
