Rani Palace is the new name of the restaurant
After a couple of weeks of spanish cuisine, we were looking for something different. We like to have a taste of India every now and then, so we were attracted by the banner at the entrance claiming that this was "real indian".
Having recently visited Sri Lanka, we can say Rani Palace is up to the expectations. It is located in between L'Arenal beach and Javea Harbour just on the other side of the Avenida going along the beachfront. It has a large terrace on the outside where you can enjoy the evening sea breeze.
We had many of the classical indian dishes: aloo gobi, chicken and lamb tikka, dal soup, pakora, samosa, etc. They were all very good and each portion was more than enough for a person. The "special mixed grill" was delicious and it is the best choice if you are very hungry. Service was excellent. Most of the waiters spoke both English and Spanish.
We spent around 25 euro each drinking water and Indian beer.
All in all Rami Palace is an excellent choice if we want to avoid to become paella addicted.
