We dropped in for lunch and were promptly seated and given a beautifully presented menu, clearly divided up, easy to read and a wonderful selection of dishes.
I chose the Special Menu, a mixed starter and a choice of about forty dishes from the A La Carte menu for main course. My wife went off piste, as she calls it and chose from the A La Carte menu. She chose a prawn dish as a starter and Chicken Safari as a main.
We were then given two or three large popadoms and a generous helping of four really tasty pickles to go with them.
When the starters arrived, they were beautifully presented and a good helping of food, they were both wonderful with subtle flavours. The mains were equally good, my wife's chicken dish came with lemon rice which I tried and it was really tasty. The portions were generous and the meat was in nice big chunky pieces.
All in all a wonderful meal and we will be back to sample the other delights on this extensive menu.
