“1st class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

On entering the garden from the main road you konw you are about to have something very special. And it didn't disappoint from the AMUSE- BOUCHE out of this world. Then when you gi inside to the dinning room at 1st was a bit taken back by the decor just didn't expect it but was very different but nice. The food and service was top notch until the desserts I was so disappointed I thought after all the effort and tricks with the other amazing dishes that the desserts would blow my shocks off 1 them was just frozen yoghurt and blood orange segments but apart from the two desserts every think else was 1st class

“Great, but not excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

The QuiQue Dacosta restaurant has a clean, modern appearance but quite minimalistic and therefore not very warm. Having three Michelin stars one's expections are very high so we were very exicted to see two optional menus containing an endless list of impressive dishes (31 in total!) that looked mouthwatering. So let's bring it on! The starter drink, a gin tonic of apple, was just fantastic. With that came a vase with the most beautiful big red rose..which turned out to be eadible for the bigger part..it was red coloured apple. Very smart! And thus started a culinary journey with many special snacks and tapas. The highlights: spaghetti putanesca, stones of parmesan cheese, pesto, coca of sweet corn, cuba libre of foie gras and a tea of chards. Just amazing!

The chef himself came over to bring a personal welcome to every table, which is very nice.
However, of the 31 small dishes I would have expected more of them being overwhelming by taste, which in my opinion they weren't. They did look exepctionally crafted, but for me the most important thing is the taste. Conclusion; it was very good, but not excellent.

One more thing: the wooden chairs might look very modern but are far from suitable for a dining experience of more than 4 hours!

“3 stars michelin, where art and culinary genius collide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

A refreshing and pleasant change for the palette, we were surprised by the presentation of the food. Truly innovative dining experience, art meets culinary genius and the mix of flavors astonished us, if you really want to experience something amazing visit this restaurant, but come on an empty stomach. The service was perfect. Reservations recommended

“The best food I have ever had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

This isn't food, this is theatre. Drama, laughter, emotions, all come by while eating these surprising dishes. Must go, if ever once in your life, period.
