we had heard rave reviews about the chef I believe his name is Alan McLean when he had a restaurant of his own in Sedona. When we found out he ran the gathering restaurant in Camp Verde we decided to try it. we went for dinner and the food was wonderful. I especially like the olive aioli they served with bread before the meal. We decided to have my mother's 75th birthday supper there with a party of about 10 people. I contacted the restaurant they forwarded me to Alan. He provided me with several dinner options in different price ranges. We set up a menu and set a date and time. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. They did everything they could to provide a wonderful experience. The price per person was extremely reasonable given the quality of the food. I have eaten at many excellent restaurants and paid much more for meals that were of similar quality. I think the food and the chef are fantastic!! The setting is not fancy but it was perfect for us as we had 3 children with us and it was a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.
