I generally find the Hampton product to be excellent, but this one had some construction and other technical issues that while well handled by the staff were annoying. To wit, the door key machine was broken so there were no room keys, you had to be escorted to your room every time you wanted to get back in, this lasted all weekend. The staff did a yeoman's job responding to requests but still you are tethered to someone else to come and go. One morning there were workers on the roof at around 7.30 and that woke us up. I think the overall hotel manager should have been a bit sharper on managing expectations, but the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. This Hampton is also a bit dated hence the face lift stuff going on while we were there and other minor inconveniences, e.g., one working elevator.
