Comfortable beds. Excellent shower head. (No wimpy shower head.) Comp breakfast a plus. Standard fare, but with exception of over-cooked scrambled eggs, decent. Good coffee. Very friendly staff. Would recommend.

This hotel has great location, a friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful Hampton rooms. My husband and I always try to stay at Hampton inns because of their consistency, cleanliness, good breakfast, and location. In our recent stay, my husband and I only found a few things that made our stay less than wonderful at this Hampton Inn. If you stay at this hotel, make sure you request a room at the back of the hotel, not one facing the highway. The traffic noise all night long resulted in less than restful sleep. The other draw back to this location is that there is no longer a restaurant on site. One must either drive to a restaurant or order from the Waiters on the Go service. While the selection from the service is good, the wait time(60-75 minutes) is annoying and the service fee is too much. Otherwise, it is an easy on and off the highway on the way to Washington,DC.

Room Tip: Choose a room that does not face the highways

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered enough variety. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Bedding was clean but the bed was a little bouncy and the covers continuously slide off the bed with every move. No mattress topper here. Despite this I would definitely return.

We recently visited this Hampton Inn with my 11 year old niece who has food allergies. The women who were working in the breakfast area were very sweet and helpful. They would offer items my niece could have every morning and they would check every time we had a question about what was in the offerings that were available. The room was wonderful! We love the beds at the Hampton Inns. They had an indoor pool with a hot tub. This hotel is also a perfect distance between the battlefields were were visiting (Gettysburg and Antietam).

From check in to check out I was never disappointed. Staff is super courtious and helpful. I wasn't even in my room for 5 minutes and I got a phone call from front desk to insure that my expectations were met. Only issue I had was I had a bad reception on my tv but the staff was on it very timely. Rooms are very clean and up to date. Great location too. No matter which direction you go leaving the hotel there are resteraunts and shopping. I would definately stay here again

We stayed here as we did antiquing in the Frederick, Hagerstown, Baltimore area. It was the perfect spot. We had a very large corner room with big windows on two walls. As with all Hampton Inns, the bed was heavenly. Our room faced the highway and it was a bit noisy, but we still slept well. The room was spotless. The breakfast area was well-staffed and very pleasant. There is a shopping mall very nearby and many restaurant choices within a five minute drive. We have only one very minor criticism: the staff at the front desk upon check-in was just a bit inattentive and seemed disorganized. There were two women behind the desk and they both seemed to struggle for an unusually long time to check in one person. But we would return to this Hampton. It was a great choice.

Room Tip: Try for a suite corner room away from the highway.
