“clean, comfortable, friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011

This was a very nice hotel for the price. It is clear that the hotel is well managed and that customer satisfaction is a priority. My room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is next to a highway but there was no noise in my 4th-floor room. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The entrance to the hotel was hard to find at first (a bigger sign would help) but overall, I was very pleased with this Hampton Inn and would stay here again.

My husband and I planned a quiet yet active vacation in the mountains of West Virginia, however, when we arrived at the resort we found it was under construction and many of the features we were looking forward to were not available to us or were simply sub par. Dejected, we decided not to stay and headed home. Our route home took us through Frederick, Maryland and we decided to check out some of the hotels there in hopes of salvaging our vacation. When we called the Hampton Inn we were happy to find that they had an outdoor pool, lovely fitness room, complimentary breakfast, free wi fi and much more. The rate was unbelievable for all of those amenities, so we booked a room for two nights. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, it is a 4 star hotel. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable so we booked a third night. We went into charming downtown Frederick at night, soaked in the sun at the pool and road our bikes around Baker Park during the day. Thank you Hampton Inn Frederick for saving our vacation!!!

I stayed at this Hampton Inn for business and couldn't have been more pleased by the overall experience.

1) Service was exemplary. From check-in to the guy mopping the floor to the breakfast hostesses, everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to please.
The room was very clean and the bed super comfy. The only thing that wasn't 100% up to par in the room was the light switch in the bathroom which was difficult to turn on or off.

Breakfast was impressive and included cereal, hot food, hard boiled eggs and breads. Coffee wasn't too good, but was acceptable.

Would definitely stay here again.

A great ending night to our vacation. A wonderful hotel and staff. Downtown Frederick is such a surprise with its interesting shops and fun restaurants. I would stay here again for sure!

Stayed here for the weekend back in October visiting my fiance's grandmother. The hotel and our room was very clean. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests, such as more towels, extra pillows, etc. and made our stay a pleasant one. Our king room was quite large and the sheets were soft, not scratchy like many hotel sheets. The only downfall is that children in the next room were quite loud and we did have some trouble sleeping the first night, but we mentioned it to the front desk the next morning and we did not have any trouble sleeping the following night. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a king room...they are big

Excellent place that goes out of their way to take great care of their guests. I've spent the last three plus weeks at the hotel after my house caught on fire, so I know from experience. From their front desk personnel - Cheryl, Carmen, and Trent, to the breakfast personnel - Marcela, the security guy - Michael, maintenance guy - Victor, and even the general manager - Yolanda, everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They have done a great job of making me feel comfortable during this trying time. Plus they've gone out of their way to welcome my five scottish terriers (who feel like the hotel ambassadors at this point). I can't say enough good about this hotel.
