We stayed here overnight as Winter Storm Euclid forced us off the road. The hallways smelled of stale cigarette smoke, and I am certain that other guests were smoking, even though all rooms on our floor were labeled as non-smoking. The carpet in the public areas definitely needed to be replaced, as did the upholstery on the chair in our room. The beds and bathroom was clean, as was the breakfast area. The carpeting behind the chair in our room hadn't been vaccuumed in forever, and the popcorn ceiling had some dust bunnies stuck to it. I know I'm highlighting the negatives, but really overall, it was fine for a one-night stay.

This hotel was a stop on the way to somewhere else. We stayed because the price was very good. The first issue is that there was NO ONE at the front desk when I walked in. Absolutely no one to greet me. Way to make me feel welcome. It took several minutes for someone to come out, and no bell or anything to ring. It isn't like I got there at 11 PM, I got there at 7. There wasn't anyone at the desk when I checked out at 8 AM either. Maybe there shouldn't be such exciting things for the staff to do in the front desk office, because they would rather be in there. For the price we paid, it was ok. The beds were nice, the room was clean, and the breakfast was great. The real issue was being awoken at 4:30 AM when the people upstairs decided to get up and leave. We heard EVERY single step they took through the floor. And I mean EVERY. It sounded like there was almost nothing between the room above us and our room. If you stay here (because you have gotten a good rate...) either stay on the 2nd floor or ask specifically if there is someone in the room above you. Otherwise, you will not get sleep.

This one is located in a very old building, and there is no elevator. It was an okay stay for the night, but I wouldn't want to spend my whole vacation here. The beds sit pretty low to the ground, but were comfortable enough. The hotel was average clean and average comfort and service, but nothing really to write home about.

We checked in and after walking upstairs with a very heavy bag (because they do not have an elevator!!!) we proceeded to our room thru hallways that reeked of cigarette smoke. The room smelled terrible, akin to dirty socks. The carpet was old and crushed. The room was in need of a major overhaul. Run down condition. The topper was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. GROSS. We immediately left and found an excellent room at the Hampton Inn. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs!!
