“Love Dutch's Dungeon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

I've gone to Dutch's Dungeon a few times now. It's a lively bar that serves good food during happy hour. The $5 chicken tenders are just that: Tender! Juicy! They're served with a honey mustard sauce and ranch dressing. Also good is the spinach dip, served with toast points and chips. The mozzarella sticks are not the usual wtih breading but beer-battered, making it a thicker stick. Good red sauce too.

Happy hour wines are about $6.

The bar has lots of seats but you need to get there early to grab one. It's a popular and fun place to be after a long day at work.

“Excellent food at high prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Since you are paying the highest prices in Frederick (next to Volt) you get what you pay for. Homemade desserts, huge sandwiches and platters, and killer seafood. Service is always good and the food never disappoints, The dungeon downstairs is a great pub style place to go. Same menu just different up beat atmosphere and the age is probably 20 yrs younger on average. Sit by the fire, the TV, or at the bar! Peanut butter pie and crab soup!!!

“Great food, nice location, comfortable dining”

This is always an enjoyable experience. Nice menu choices, efficient, friendly staff. Though it can be a bit pricey, it is still one of the better choices in town

“Best in Frederick”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Fabulous food and service, always with a smile. Reservations are accomodated with a positive attitude, like they really want you to dine there, and they do. Sunday brunch is fabulous.

“Nice place for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I had dinner here in mid-December so the place was hopping with holiday parties and friends gathering for food and drinks. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I was a little taken by surprise by the 1/2 hour wait for a table (and that's with a reservation) but we enjoyed some well made Martinis to help pass the time. We definitely plan to go back, but will wait for a special occasion since the good food served here is not cheap.
