Even before you place your order for dinner, you have the wonderful opportunity to select a flight of wines to accompany it...............oh, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just the way to start a great evening at this restaurant.... and I guarantee that you WILL have just that!
The meals are wonderful & well-priced, as are the flights of wines. More offerings of wine flights than we have ever seen in one restaurant!
For our meals, we selected a 24 Hour-Glazed Beef Short Rib, a Grilled Swordfish, a Long Island Duck with Huckleberries (Yes, when was the last time that you saw huckleberries anywhere on the menu???), and a Petite Filet Mignon w/ Pistachio Foie Gras Butter--------to die for!!!! All members of our party were extremely happy with their meals.
Kudos to Laura, our server. She was very helpful when needed and disappeared when not. We were also lucky to have John, one of the two managers of The Wine Kitchen, stop by our table.
One bit of a down note..........because of the hardwood flooring and open areas, this is not a quiet restaurant. Noise could affect your experience here, but my advice would be to try to go beyond it. If you do, I am sure that you will have a VERY enjoyable experience.
