These beds are the worst I've ever slept in. Its like sleeping on the floor!!! ...horrible. The rooms smell and they are just uncomfortable. The pillows are nice! I wouldnt recommend this hotel but the choices are kind of slim in this area!

I last reviewed this hotel a few months ago. I travel here on business from Los Angeles and the company I work for has their employee's stay here (otherwise I wouldn't). If you are planning a trip thru Barstow look elsewhere to stay. If you plan on just a few hours sleep, ok, but for a multiple day stay...no way. The pool lately has been hit or miss. Today the water is a hazy tint to it. While the front desk people are very pleasent and helpfull, the facility still needs an internet and cable service upgrade. As I write this while on the web, I have had to walk away from my laptop to do otherthings while websites download, and sometimes I am forced to give up. If you plan on a restfull night in the room, watching T.V. the cable lineup is very limited. Months have passed since mgmnt. promised a cable upgrade. For just a sleepover, it's "ok".

Room Tip: Ask for a non-smoking room, because the regular smoking rooms also accomodate pets. If you get one o...

Stayed here one night on a trip from AZ to Bay Area in CA. We arrived about 7:30 PM after making a reservation from the road. I had requested a "ground floor" room due to my mobility limits, and they gave us one. But at this motel, ground floor is actually below ground. We had to first step up and over a huge concrete barrier (about 12 inches high), then had to navigate two sets of steps down to reach the walkway to get to the room.

Once we got settled in for the night, we realized there was only one wash cloth in the bathroom. The A/C was very loud. The beds were pretty firm, and room amenities minimal.

I found a black hair in the shower stall when I went to bathe. The carpets were not as clean as they could be...my feet got black from walking barefoot for a short time.

We did appreciate the large parking area as we were towing a big car trailer. The location is just off the I-15 freeway, but the area is very very congested with trucks and traffic.

I know lodging prices are going up, but $80 for a mediocre room is pushing things.

The cable T.V. selections are VERY limited. Half the channels that do come in are fuzzy and have an audible buzzing. The free "wi-fi" is almost non-existant. I called front desk to complain about the cable trouble, and a "tech" was sent to my room. After looking at the T.V. screen he just shrugged and said that's just the way it is with the current cable provider. The internet is not available unless you are in the front of the building. Myself and other guests compared notes and this problem was not limited to just my room. Staff was nice, but unable to set problems right. Not recommended!!!

Room Tip: Bottom floor rooms facing parking lot are clean and have wi-fi. Hopefully!! Ask for non smoking room...

This was a nice surprise! We called around for prices beforehand and when we got there, we found out we called the other Days Inn location which was about $25 cheaper. When debating to leave, they gave us $10 off their price, and we decided to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, but very, very busy! The room was a nice surprise with painted walls and a more up to date bathroom layout. It had a comfy and clean set up! Some of the TV stations were fuzzy, but it was still was not bad! Overall, a good stay!

When you read the reviews on the right it looks like tis might be an ok place, once in you quickly think hmmmmm bet days inn employees were told to right pleasent reviews while they were'nt busy. The parking lot is the highpoint of this HOLE place, plenty of room and cleaner than the room. This place realy is bad, dirty, stinks and even the bath towels have some of the past clients stuck to them, I got this room through Hotwire another first for me, strange the photos they have show a room with a microwave , fridge and decent looking, well guess its the way things anymore nothing is on the up and up, days inn should be ashamed , naaaaa whata they care ( it shows)

Room Tip: Buy a tent and find a KOA
