“"Pricey" but not bad at all.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

Conveniently placed at the entrance of Plasencia this hotel is not your typical tourist hotel. This hotel is aimed at large groups (coach travelers) as well as commercial agents or people in a business trip. The hotel tariffs are highly priced (around 60 euros per night on a week day) offers for companies are offered and breakfast is included. It has a restaurant and a cafeteria that have a large range of products to offer. It is definitely a good stay for that one who passes by. Rooms are spacious and clean. Service is good

It looks a bit like a lot of other Spanish hotels from the road but once you get inside you feel you are somewhere that is well run and looked after accordingly. A very good welcome at reception, a large, clean and nicely furnished room in the modern style: comfy beds and large bathroom with all mod cons. Good breakfast in the cafeteria which also does light snacks all day. I haven't tried the dining room but it probably costs more than I want to spend as I prefer the menus del dia which you can get at lunchtime when out and about. Book here, it's a good deal.

Really happy with the big spacious rooms, dinning room, cafeteria, etc. Very professional staff. Looked at a couple others and not so impressed. Car parking and WiFi for free. Quality of food is high.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

Further to my post below, we have visited this hotel again twice in August 2012. The standards haven't dropped and the staff were as lovely as ever. The rooms were very clean and everything still looked new. Hopefully a return visit next year!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony, or facing forward- just remember the sunrising early. The ones facing...

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2011

Stayed here for what was meant to be a stop over on the 15th July but due to illness had to spend an extra night here. The hotel was very clean and the beds comfy. We had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the train tracks (you could not hear the trains with the double glazing) although next time we will be asking for a room with a balcony at the front of the hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind- we had to call an ambulance out and upon our return all showed concern- even at breakfast the following day!!
Breakfast was included in the price of our room and it was a very good spread compared to other Spanish hotels which are not chains. The food in the cafeteria/restaurant was good but not anything really special.
The location of the hotel is out of town (5 minute drive tops), but in a quiet area, which was just what we needed and it is straight down the road to reach either the dual carriageway south or the old town north.
We will be back :-)

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2010

The rooms are big but quite sterile. The beds are very comfortable and it was quiet . The reception staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. When we arrived at 6 pm we were hungry but the restaurant didn't open until 7.30 and the cafe had only a sandwich to offer. There is a McDonalds nearby otherwise no other restaurants or bars. The location is not very nice in an industrial area but the hotel is close to the major through roads.
