My sister and I were starving and desperate when we bumbled into here. Everywhere else in town either didn't have room or was too expensive for us. Our expectations weren't high but we were very pleased. We shared a very large salad and each had pasta dishes, eggplant for my sister and spinach cannellini for me. Both meals tasted very homemade and were good sizes. The house wine was fine and the cost very reasonable. The interior is utterly devoid of charm but for a place to get a reasonable dinner without a long wait it was perfectly fine. Although we didn't I think it would be a fine place to go with kids too.
