“Everything was great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

I am so happy this place stays through the years.
Such a lovely quaint setting
I particularly enjoy sitting on the porch.
The fish is fresh and cooked with inspiration.
The fried plantains were to die for.
Our server was very attentive.

“Lovely lunch spot”

Enjoyed a lovely late summer lunch on the patio. Good food, good service, reasonable prices, all in a peaceful and historic setting.

“Charming and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

I liked the setting of this old restaurant, still serving food since colonial days. Service was good, food fine. Prices reasonable.

“Not Bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Went to Concord to day and decided to try the Colonial Inn. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I had a flat bread and even though it should have been more cooked on the bottom it was fairly tasty. We got the onion strings and these were very greasy. I would not get them again even though they are known for that dish. My husband got the burger. It was good too. NOT GREAT but good. I liked the atmophere but there were places that were a little shabby. I wish they would pull up the carpet and put down a nice pine or hardwood floor. The plants on the window sill have to go especially in the dining room. They also have a wooden indian that seems out of place or maybe I just do not know what the look is that they are trying to achieve. I was surprised I liked it as much as i did and would definately go back especially in light of the fact they claim it is haunted. I think perhaps it might be cozy at Christmas time or in the winter. They have a new menu which is supposed to be more current. All in all it was a pleaseant experience and I will definatley give them another try. I should add the staff was very attentive without being intrusive.
