“Come and spend the whole day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

We lucked out and got beautiful weather today which I think made this visit even better. The living history actors were so friendly and full of information. So many sites to see that we ran out of time. I recommend wearing good walking shoes and just walking the whole trail. Or just bring bikes, there were cyclists everywhere and the cars are used to them so biking between Lexington and concord is very easy. Beautiful scenery abounds on trials between the two towns in which the first shots of the Revolutionary War were shot. Great for families, canoeing, picnicking and spending a day out side learning our history.

“Beautiful, historic, and educational!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

Our family enjoyed our visit to the MInute Man park. We wish we had more time to explore even more of it. We watched the movie at the Visitor Center (it was excellent!! We were all interested - even my 13 year old son who isn't interested much in history!!) and then drove to the North Bridge where the shots were first fired that started the Revolutionary War. The park rangers were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

It is a pretty park and great for picnics or just hanging out. You can see the famous bridge and the statue that represents our militia.

You might not spend too long here but it's worth an hour or two. Good informative film in the visitors centre will "orientate" you and help you understand more than just the history of he revolution. Follow the visit here with one to Lexington (Munroe Tavern recommended if you are only going to visit one historic sight) and then to North Bridge.

“History books come alive at Minute Man National Historical Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

This is where American was born! All the history books from kindergarden through graduate school in a college of university can't substitute for a visit to see the Minute Man sites in Concord.
