“Get out and learn about your past!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is a beautiful way to soak up some sunshine, learn a bit of history, and enjoy a truly New England environment. The group of friends I went with put in our kayaks a bit further up the road and paddled down the river and underneath the bridge. SO beautiful. Lots of wildlife, open spaces, and room to wander with little educational plaques and sites scattered around. If you're in the area and are torn between enjoying the outdoors and doing some learning about the area, this is the spot for you!

“The Essence Of The American Revolution”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

This isn't the original -- it's a reproduction, but it represents the entrance to Minuteman National Park. There are a few outside exhibits and ducks on the Concord River in the nice weather. Enjoy!

“Picturesque”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

The minuteman statute at North Bridge is evocative. It is amazing to realize this is where the American Revolution truly began. The visitor center on top of the hill offers a wonderful view. There is a display which shows key points in Lexington, Concord and along the Battle Road which is helpful in understanding the timeline for that day in April 1775. There is a short film which is a bit melodramatic, but informative nonetheless.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

It was a wonderful experience to walk toward the bridge - cross over to the other side and then imagine what it was like in1775 when the British attacked and the "minutemen" fired upon them.

“The Shot Heard Around the World”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

We felt joyful and solemn at the same time as we realized the significance of this sacred place. The writings on the Minuteman statue and the monuments there moved us deeply.
