“Delicious duck and sumptuous seabass!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

First review I've ever submitted, but felt compelled to do so. We arrived around 9 pm with no reservation on a Saturday night in August and straight away an extra table was made available, necessitating the need to shut one of the seven doors!!! It was not a problem and was a good sign of what was to come (having left another restaurant at lunch the same day, next to the bridge at the port, with a bad taste in our mouths as a result of the slow, poor and surly service)
This was a fantastic meal, 22 euros for an amuse bouche, 3 courses, wine, water and bread. Coffees and liqueurs in addition, total 52 euros. Service was impeccable, everything from humorous translations and explanations thro' questionable gestures! and a friendly and accommodating manner. Very much a locals' place too, with people still arriving at 11pm! Great choice and attention to deal at a fabulous price.

“Average meal and service, nice space”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

The food has good items, but is not consistently good.
Me and my husband took the 22.5€/person menu.
They offer a paté with toasts, but didn't brought any plate for us to eat.
My husband took: seafood soup, each has an artificial flavor and the "solomillo", the meat was very good, the salad was poor and the fried potatoes cold and has no taste.
I took: beans with clams, which is a soup, tasted ok, giant portion. Then I ate the fish with sider. Tasty but has nothing else but the fish, no rice, potatoes or salad.
The menu includes a bottle of wine from a of list of five wines (the cheapest on the menu).
Includes desert too. Dont accept the tasting plate with a small portion of each because it just brings three and they are all deserts not in the menu, cheapest, for that purpose. Choose your dessert from the list. You'll get more quality.
The outdoor tables have less ambiance than inside, if you want a more cozy or romantic meal, you must reserve.

“Pretentious”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

I have been there once and I will not return. Asturian cuisine is delicious, but I could not find any of it here, nor I could find well-prepared traditional Spanish stample dishes and ultimately not even good international or fusion cuisine... in other words, for that price I expected something better. The nice interior decoration of the restaurant cannot not make up for its sloppily prepared dishes.

“Great dining choice while in Llanes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

Last time I was in Llanes Siete Portes looked like it was closed down or on vacation. Thankfully this time it was open & had a wonderful menu del dia here for a bargain 12.50e inc wine & water. Note it is only red wine - white wine is not part of the deal !!! Food & service were excellent from beginning to end. Bread basket, complimentary fish mousse, great choices of starters & even better mains. The deserts on the set menu were okay but the deserts from the a la carte menu which were all home made were on display in the main dining room & were mouth watering !!! Next time I think.

It was absolutely fantastic value for lunch and they do it in the evenings as well with different prices depending on what choices you would like.

Make this your first choice for dining in Llanes !!!!!!! You will not be disappointed. Oddly among the music which was played on my visit was Wham's "Last Christmas" which seemed very odd on a hot sunny June day.
