“Wine, tapas or dining, can't beat it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

Once again had the best tapas in almunecar which is hard as there are so many really great bars and resturants. It's not plush but it is real and you cannot beat the welcome, service and food whether it's just a glass of wine with huge fresh tasty tapas or a full meal. Our tapas inc the burgers in a bun, calamari, meat balls, pâté........... Can't wait to go back in April.

“Stop, relax and enjoy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

This restaurant is a must for anyone staying or passing through Almunecar. The warmest of welcomes anywhere in this lovely town. Antonia and her partner (Mickili, sorry if not correct spelling!) are the most amazing hosts with excellent chef Alex and his colleague. The service is 2nd to none, the tapas is so good and great wine, you really can't afford to eat anywhere else! For those of you unaware, tapas is free in this part of Spain, 4 drinks & 3 tapas 8 euro. We ate here many nights, always guaranteed fabulous food and of course service. It is great to see such a busy bar every evening (closed Mondays) when so many others are sadly struggling at the moment. See you in the new year.

“Spanish cuisine with a difference”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Delphin 9,Paseo Cotobro,Almunecar,18690,Granada

Situated overlooking the sea, this place is to be savored not only for the view but the innovative food on offer. You are always assured of all warm, friendly service from all the staff but Antonita the manageress's smile and geninuely warm welcome whether you are regular customer or it's your first visit is more than worth a visit alone.
What's different about the place? Well opinion for our circle of fiends who visit and myself at least, is its a typical Spanish menu but with standard traditional dishes have been tweaked slightly to add a little piquance to each dish that gives an added flavour that helps raises it above the average tasting experience.
A drink with tapas might be slightly more expensive that some of the places near by but once again the quality of the included tapas is of a quality that will not disappoint.
This restaurant which until Antonita and her team came on board some 6 or more months ago was languishing into doldroms but since their arrival they have collectively turned the place around to make a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. I recommend that you check it out the you next visit lovely Almunecar.
