We stayed at this hotel for the Passion 2013 conference which is a Christian conference for college students. This hotel was packed with young people and their church groups trying to check in at once!!!

I was so impressed with the staff during this check in procedure! Of course we had to wait in line approx 15 minutes which was understandable considering there where 100's of college aged students trying to check in at the same time, but the staff was very courteous and did a good job getting all the groups processed fast!

We checked in the back area so I was in awe as we were going to our room, and saw the main lobby and the groups of students there!

It was a cold & rainy day so we were delighted when we discovered they had a Starbucks in the lobby!

When we got to our room, the room was clean, but there were no pillow cases on the pillows. It was my understanding that people had just checked out that morning from attending the Chik-Fil-A bowl so the maids were still cleaning rooms at 3:30 or 4:00 when we checked in. There was a Porter or Concierge person in the hallway making sure everyone who checked in had everything they needed. When I asked for pillow cases, he got me some from the maid, and offered to put them on the pillows for me. Super nice guy!

We were even recognized as being Starwood (Sheraton) members, and had a cake delivered to our room in appreciation of us staying there!

Our room was by the pool which was quite impressive itself.

I am a BIG customer service person, so I would recommend this hotel just for the Staff!!

Although this Hotel is older and could use some updating, it is very clean and the staff is wonderful. The bar and restaurant are great, as is the indoor pool and hot tub!!! Khalid Ikar deserves a raise...I recommend staying here.

The hotel has a wonderful staff from the bell desk, to the front desk and especially the event staff. I worked a large convention here and the staff was one of the most pleasurable I have ever worked with. Unfortunately, the rooms were very tired and in need of some TLC. They weren't overly clean either, I found a few random items on the floor and strands of someone else's hair in the sheets and on the bathroom floor. The location was good, albeit not very safe but that's downtown Atlanta! It was near Peachtree St and Peachtree Center so good restaurants were accessible. The food on property was good but there wasn't much of a selection. I particularly enjoyed the fresh options and super friendly staff at the deli.

Everyone was very eager to be helpful and always very friendly. Carl helped to bring up my bags because i was injured and was very friendly. He was so great and went out of his way to make sure he was helpful. I appreciated to very much and it helped to make my stay better. They were all very helpful with storing our bags as well while we were at a conference and had to check out. Jerome was extra helpful and very organized in helping to set this up.
