Usually when I take trips to Atlanta I stay at hotels in the Perimeter area. I always go through 3rd party websites to book my rooms. So after the hotel was revealed through the 3rd party website I immediately looked on the hotel's web page. I saw photos of the rooms and I was impressed. I was not impressed for long. Friday, August 16 I checked in and as I walked in my room I realized my room look NOTHING like the pictures on the website. Furniture was outdated, at least 15 years old. There wasn't an iron nor ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, blow dryer in bathroom did not work, wallpaper was peeling. I honestly believe I was was placed in this room simply because I booked through a 3rd party website. Descrimination perhaps, who knows, but I know one thing for sure, I WILL NEVER STAY AT A HOLIDAY INN!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write your detailed review and share your experience with the TripAdvisor readership. We greatly appreciate it! After reading your review, you might imagine how disappointed I was to learn about the issues you experienced on your recent visit with us. They certainly are not reflective of the Holiday Inn Hotels Brand level of service for which we are known and I assure you that this was a highly extraordinary condition. We have in the 2nd floor some rooms that we run out of time to complete the renovation on them, we had to stop due to the season and the demand. Which will be completed by the end of this year? However that will never be an excuse for missing items and or condition of the room. I assure you that the booking source will never be the deciding factor of the rooms or room type. However being over sold was the reason we even opened these rooms, with no exception the rooms will never be in a condition that we are not proud off. I personally with the engineering department and the house keeping manager inspected that room after reading your review. We have missed some opportunities in that room, and we have taken this unfortunate opportunity to retrain and implement some measures to prevent this issue from ever arising. Our team always delivers the best serves to all of our guests; we missed the opportunity with you. I’m so sorry, but that is no excuse and we are addressing the issues as a valuable learning process. I hope you will allow us another opportunity to show you the true Holiday Inn experience as we want to make up for your previous experiences. Please accept my earnest apologies for your experience, this is definitely not the norm. We hope your travels will bring you back to our area again soon, and I ask that you please allow us a second opportunity to demonstrate the true service and hospitality of our team. You will receive complementary one night stay with breakfast and dinner in you next visit. Please contact me directly for your reservation. The rooms are clean, breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. The location is convenient for Airport, or downtown World of Coke, Aquarium, Phillips Arena, etc. The parking lot is secure and large enough for RV or motorcoaches. Perfect location for an overnight before an early flight.

I stayed here for two weeks on business and without a doubt the staff here are some of the most attentive I have experienced in my travels. Every need was efficiently cared for without question. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone for business or pleasure.

I originally stayed there in a very large group of 25 rooms I had only stayed down town in 5 star hotels and was apprehensive but I was supprised that the decor and service was very much the same accept no valet parking witch was fine with me and The hotel was a little noisier than I was used to but for the price I paid it didn't bother me much .the most surprising thing that happened was that we had dealt with the manager directly for the large group accommodation witch is common but I decided to stay again and the hotel was full so I remembered the managers name was nabil so I ask for him to see if he could help me since it was a last minute trip the clerk said see was out then but she would get him to call me and he actually called me back from his cell phone in less than 5 minutes I was amazed that I got the same service for one room as I did for 25. Awesome manager !!!!! Will stay any time I'm in the area thank you

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms and hotel in general are nice and very clean. I especially enjoyed the bartender, Megan. She was very attentive and knowledgeable of the area. I will definitely return!

My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel in mid- August. I would have to agree with most of the reviews that I have read - this is a nice, comfortable place to stay in North Atlanta. However, I am puzzled by something that happened to me twice during our stay. As I was leaving our room on the first morning I was asked by the hotel maid "If I wanted my room "serviced" today?"
I said that I had left the card on the bed saying that new sheets and cases would not be necessary, but please refresh the room. The next morning (day of checkout) the maid yelled from down at the end of the hall and asked if I wanted my room serviced today. I told her that we were checking out. Is this really the way hotels operate today? Tacky, Tacky!! I asked the front desk supervisor about it and he confirmed that this is policy. This is not a cheap hotel and they do provide a card to be placed on the bed for limited service. Why confront the guest? Times have really changed!

On every Saturday morning our business mtg is @ Holiday Inn Chamblee-Dunwoody. I had the pleasure of meeting two awesome ladies (Charmaine & Elizabeth) who were situated @ the front desk. Both were so very courteous & personable. It is well-appreciated when one can offer a service with such zeal, yet maintain an air of patience and understanding. Thx to your great choice of ladies leading from the front.
