The first thing my wife and I heard about the Hotel Indigo in Atlanta is that the rooms and bathrooms are too small. Sure, the room and bathroom is much smaller than the average hotel, but it's all relative. We love to go on cruises, so we are accustomed to very small accommodations for 2 week cruises. My point is simply that if you are not planning to spend all day in your room, this hotel is just fine. The bed was very comfortable and there is a flat screen TV in the room with plenty of channels. I also like that they do not nickel and dime you like most hotels...the WiFi is free throughout the hotel.
This hotel is directly across from the classic Fox Theater in Midtown Atlanta. There are numerous restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is very clean with a friendly staff. They really want to please you and make you feel at home. There is a nice happy hour at the bar and I like that they have a front porch with tables and chairs so that you can sip on a drink outside. They also provide free bottles of water at the front desk.
We actually checked out of the huge Marriott Marquis hotel and moved to the Hotel Indigo. We were much happier at the Hotel Indigo. I definitely recommend it!
