My husband, 4 year old and I stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a wedding in Buckhead. We were booked at the Ritz Carlton, but found this hotel on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a shot. The RC tends to have small rooms if you don't get a suite and with 3 of us, the more room the better.
We were pleasantly surprised given the reasonable nightly rate. It a small apartment set up, with full kitchen that opens up to a sitting room/living room area. The bedroom is separated by a full wall, but no actual door, which was fine for us.
The decor was nice and modern, nothing extremely luxurious, but certainly above a regular chain hotel--granite countertops in kitchen and bath, stainless steel appliances, nicley appointed toiletries, etc.
Our only complaints are with the rooftop pool and the staff:
The rooftop pool is a great concept. It was large and had more than enough chairs, tables and loungers. It appeared to be clean and well kept. Our issue was that is was unreasonably freezing cold. We were there in June and it was at least 88 degrees that whole weekend, but somehow, the pool did not heat. If this is the norm, the hotel/apartments should invest in a pool heating system. The chill was uncomfortable even for my 4 year old, who is a major pool fiend.
The staff was polite overall, but seemed very "green" and untrained. Perhaps because it's a newer hotel. It wasn't a huge deal, just seemed a little ineffecient compared to what we're used to.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and even business travelers.
