Let me just say I love dimly lighted restaurants that give a soft romantic vibe, although some people may appreciate more lighting. I brought my boyfriend (now fiance) here for his birthday dinner, a casual 1/2 mile walk from our stay at the Sugar Magnolia B&B. It was 9pm on a Tuesday, which may be the reason it was rather empty. The staff was very cordial and knowledgeable and our meal was very good. The wine recommendations were excellent and as already stated, the dim romantic lighting just topped off the scenery. We were made to feel extremely comfortable and the staff did not seem the least bit off, even encouraging us to stay when we were still there after closing time.
