I dined at SCK on two occasions in late July; one a group luncheon, the other a business dinner. The restaurant did a wonderful job of the group luncheon, bringing out the food in a timely, seemingly effortless manner. The food was excellent. But the dinner was really exceptional. Our waiter, Ernest, performed flawlessly. When one of us sent back a bowl of crab soup (no crab) he reappeared ASAP with a warm bowl brimming with meat. Our orders were complicated and the check split oddly. None of that seemed to throw the staff. The food was among the best I found in Atlanta, and it was real southern, not faux-southern. This place is plain and unpretentious, but I think you will leave happy. Ask for Ernest.
