I didn't have a lot of time so I enjoyed my dining at the bar. The restaurant was packed and stayed that way while I was there. My interactions with every staff member showed a dedicated effort to excellent customer service. The hostess charged my phone while I dined, the bar back assisted, the waitress was friendly and conversational. It made it a personal didning experience, not like I was just 1 of the 100 who were dining.
Try the fried green tomatoes! Phenomenal. They are spread with goats cheese before coated with Panko. The crab cake was delicious with a pickled slaw. The chicken livers were also great. I didn't want a large meal so I opted for the three appetizers. That was a great choice when I saw the size of the house special fried chicken. It looked awesome.
Even my drink before dinner was worth noting. It was a rosemary and tequila concoction. The only heads up is that there is no parking. Plan on one of the paid lots nearby, but don't let that hold you back.
