Met another couple for dinner this past Saturday. The restaurant was not crowded at all, other than a private party going on in a back room. We had a decent booth, although the seat cushions could use a little work and if sitting in the middle of the booth, the table is very close to your body. That said, Patrick was a nice waiter. For the most part, he was unobtrusive and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our food. There was really no rush for our table, anyway. The food was good, but not the best I have had. The portions were a nice size. My grouper was cooked nicely and the bibb lettuce salad was very good. My husband ordered the duck and our friends ordered the meatloaf and the seafood stew. All were good, but again not the most memorable. The prices are on the mid-high range, however any good restaurant will be priced accordingly, especially if you want a decent meal. The overall ambience of the restaurant could be improved, as well, it felt a little cold.
