On a rainy Sunday in June, there are fewer places more enjoyable than brunch at Old Vinings Inn. The staff were greatly welcoming, ascertaining that it was our first visit and giving us some history of the old place. The brunch menu looked good, and although they were out of our first choice (the beef hash), the chicken with biscuits and gravy was a great replacement. The cheddar grits were divine - thick and tasty. I'd recommend this brunch spot for eating with friends or family. There are a lot of post-Church diners, so although the dress code is "smart casual", on a Sunday you can expect to feel under-dressed next to the old Atlanta ladies in hats and bright colored suits. Charming and friendly place.
