“A nice bistro in Buckhead”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Really enjoyed an evening at Anis Café seated on the porch and even during a thunderstorm. Was a bit crowded, but have valet parking. The wine list was great! The Tartare De Tomate was excellent. I enjoyed the salmon which was thin, well cooked and nicely served. Nice selection of desserts. Waiter was quite knowledgeable and just enough helpful and solicitous without being over-bearing. This is a nice change from the larger restaurants.

“so sad about it....!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

As we lived a block from this restaurant we used to go very often there... but the last time that we went with my wife was a total disaster... seems that the owner was in vacation as the food quality was simply bad... the fillet used to be one of the best here but last time was more similar to a shoe sole and my wife ordered a salmon that was out of date, smelly and testy pretty bad...that we send it back...
I'm sad because this USED to be a good restaurant just for the food, as the place is very uncomfortable and noise...

“Great food and fun atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

The mussels, octopus and seared scallops are amazing. Our server was very polite and helpful. The whole staff came together to rain-proof the main outside area, even though it was pouring outside.

“Excellent French Food in Old Buckhead home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

A favorite of my wife's, it's a great place to have an intimate lunch or dinner although at times, it is overly busy. The food is great, but not cheap. The entrees are cooked slowly and full of flavor. In particular we like the Boeuf an Poivre (upper side of price range) and Truite Menuiere (about 60% of the Boeuf). Check the menu's online.

Although never rushed, with excellent service, you had better make a reservation. Consistently a favorite of locals. Parking can be trying at times, but worth it (there is some space around back).

“Great casual fare.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

A busy, fun bar and bistro with nice service. Funky interior with a nice patio even in hot weather. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy but very good.
Valet parking and a good wine list! A nice choice for regular alfresco dining!
