“Get the ribs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

These are the best ribs that I have eaten. Unfortunately, I got the sampler platter so I only got two. The rest of the plate was quite good but the ribs were phenominal. These are better than Fat Matt's ribs and I really like them too. Prices are a little more expensive than I might have thought but not ridiculous. Service was good and the atmosphere was as you would expect from an old bbq joint, smokey with a pretty thick patina.

“Tasy bbq very expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Corn bread is delicious and so is the Brunswick stew. Just way to expensive about 7 dollars for desert it is good but do they not know most people are broke today??

“Quaint Hometown BBQ that is Reaallly Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

I have eaten BBQ all over the US and Daddy's is excellent. We had Brunswick stew with corn bread and a small fried onion rings for appetizer. My wife had the pulled chicken with cole slaw and baked beans and I had the rib plate with potato wedges and collards. We both had Texas toast. The service was great (remember it is a small mom and pop joynt). The servers were very amiable and helpful. One sweet tea and one unsweet tea both with lemon. Everything was good!! The next time we go we will get the meal with our BBQ sauce on the side (just a personal preference). With mass marketing chain restaurants out of control Daddy's was very refreshing.

“Good Old Juke Joint BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

When you enter Daddy D'z, it's like going into a (non air conditioned - i think) juke joint from the 1960's with the booth lined walls and the center isle leading to the band stand. From there you enter the air conditioned dining area where you seat yourself in a booth or table. The bbq chicken and ribs are great. And with two side items, our plates (Styrofoam) were running over. The sweet tea seemed to be very lightly sweetened, but overall our meals were very good.

“Really good BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Rode up to Daddy D'z for lunch with friends, really good. Doesn't look like your average BBQ joint but don't let that fool ya, good food inside!
