“Interesting and unusual”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

I had lunch at That Pie Place on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Every thing is baked in a puff pastry shell. I had the Bar-B-Q, and I found it very good. They have everything from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert in the "pies". It turned out to be just what I needed. It was quick, filling, and it tasted good. In addition, the price was right. Around $10 for the lunch and tea. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop.

“Not Pizza! It's a creative and delicious alternative for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Found this place near my office and took a group there to try it out. Really, really good. They make savory meat and/or vegetable filled pies (oh, and dessert ones, too). Turns out one of my co-workers had actually been and he described it spot on as "Hot Pockets done right".

I had the jerk chicken pie with an apple pie for dessert. The dough was flakey, the meat was tender and nicely spiced. And the apple pie was superb.

If you want a place for lunch or dinner that's not your typical fare in a place that's clean, courteous, and convenient, give this place a try.

“Tasty and Fair Priced”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

The pies are custom made with fresh ingredients so they are nice and hot when you get them. A variety of combinations or you can make your own combo. A bit of a wait, 5-10 minutes, but that is because you are getting a tasty pie made just for you. Totally worth it. :)

“Now that's a different lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Visited today for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of interesting selections but I went with the Veggie to keep things as light as possible ... and man was it good. The crust was flaky, buttery and the veggies were perfect. Spinach, broccoli, onions & mushrooms I believe in a light white sauce. My friend had the philly cheesesteak and it looked wonderful. They are just the right size. Not oversized so that you are stuffed to the gills, but big enough to feel like you had a good meal. I bought a little peach pie take home so I can wait to try it. Definitely will come back... oh and they have one of those fancy coke machines with the million choices. All around a very fun lunch place!

“Savory and Sweet!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Honestly didn't try the sweet pies but the savory ones were very good. Philly cheese steak and Cuban had just the right amount of filling and spices. Sides were good too. Will be back.
