We found this hotel thru Travelocity. It is a great place to stay. We stayed in 413 which overlooked the pool. There was very little noise from other guests. We heard occasional airplanes. There is free wi-fi in the lobby and a number of computers for guest use. We paid for wi fi in the room. The swimming pool is great - half indoors and half outdoors. We really liked the salty water. The beds were great

I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway and had a great first impression. I love the fact that it has a shuttle to and from the airport so that I don't have to worry about transportation. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous and the view was fantastic. The hotel staff was very friendly and very professional. Once I got up to my room, I wasn't disappointed at all. The bed slept like a dream and I wanted to take the comforter set with me :) I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and have already told my mom how wonderful this hotel is. l love the open atmosphere of the lobby and the fountain was a nice touch as well.

Room Tip: Definitely get a room with 2 beds if you can. AC units are very quiet!

I stayed at this property after working at the Scott Antique Market. The hotel was nice and well located for what I needed. Customer service was excellent, Silvia at the front desk was especially helpful. The room was quiet and spacious and the bed and pillows were perfect. I would stay here again.

I would like to say, that I had a very nice stay at the Sheraton Gateway Atlanta, the front end agent was very professional, her name was Silvia Cordova, she was very nice at night, and the next morning that I saw her. My room was very comfortable and had everything that I needed, also the free internet in the lobby was excellent, I needed helping getting on line, Mr. Bryant Hedgeman was more that helpful. The office area was clean, and even had computers if a person needed to get on line. The detail to customer service, and customer focus here was excellent, Ms. Silvia Cordova and Mr. Bryant Hedgeman really made my stay fantastic.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel from 06-08Sep13. Bided on this hotel via Priceline and got an excellent deal. I have stayed at this hotel before and great for a short stay. Close to the airport so of course far from downtown area.

Pros: Close to restaurants and shops if you have a rental. Excellent gym/workout center. Shuttle to and from airport runs 24 hours. Upgraded shower heads in bathroom.

Cons: Parking is $12 a day. Smaller rooms and bathrooms than other hotels that I have stayed at. No free breakfast.

Room Tip: Choose a room not next to an icemaker or the elevators

Upon cancellation of my flight out of Atlanta due to weather, I gathered from the collective grumblings of everyone in the airport that no flights would be leaving for the rest of the day. It was clear that rooms near the airport were going to be at a premium so I took advantage of the time I was spending in line and booked a room at the Airport Sheraton via phone. After the dust had settled a bit and I was able to speak more in depth with the ticket agent, I was made aware that my flight was actually cancelled due to a mechanical issue prior to the weather cancellations and as a result, I was entitled to an airline provided hotel room at no charge to me.

I immediately called the reservations line at Sheraton to let them know that I wouldn't need the room and they informed me that I was within the 24 hour cancelation period and would need to pay for the room regardless of whether or not I used it. It was quite frustrating to feel that the agent really wasn't hearing a word I was saying and was just spouting off policy. The fact that I had just booked it 15 minutes prior and that they would have no problem re-selling the room that night didn't matter. As far as she was concerned, I was committed to the room, she had my cc#, the hotel was sold out and she was happy to wash her hands of the situation. It was also obvious that she was not on site. She was at a call center somewhere far far away.

I called the hotel directly, asked for the front desk and got Tristan on the phone. Tristan made my day. He was very sympathetic to my plight, immediately canceled my reservation and thanked me for making the room available on what was going to be a very busy and hectic evening.

Upon arrival at my dumpy airline provided hotel I immediately wished that I was over at the Sheraton with Tristan and friends.

I am from Northeast GA and had an early flight out of Hartsfield, so I decided to stay overnight at the Sheraton. I normally stay across the street but was given a referral by a customer. It was less expensive than my usual hotel and is pet friendly (I typically travel with my dog). The price of parking was not included (it is at my other hotel) but the room was far less expensive and more than covered the price of parking. My friend and I actually decided to take the day off and check in to the hotel early. Our room was clean and roomy, we also spent some time by the pool and in the gym. the gym had more equipment than I usually see in a hotel and the pool area was clean and secluded. The chairs were nice and there were TONS of towels available. This is now my new hotel when I stay overnight before flying out of Hartsfield. it is also across the street from Ruby Tuesday and it's just a very short walk.
