“Great Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

We were in Atlanta for the Gift Mart for our store Caribbean Jubilee, and we had a great experience at this hotel. At first I thought it would be a hassle being 12 miles from downtown, but using the MARTA and the free shuttle from the Sheraton to the MARTA station at the airport made it a pleasent experience. The staff was extemely helpful and efficient and informative. Not once did I get any kind of attitude from them. The shower had great water pressure and what seemed like never ending hot water. The Batch was a little small, but nicely remodeled and pleanty of towels. There is also a free on-site washer and dryer (only a buck for detergent), but it is a little hard to find. There were plenty of computers with free internet access (you do have to pay for printing), but the network seemed a little sluggish. We didn't try the restaurant, but there is a Ruby Tuesday right across the street that was awesome. The only problem that I had was that I had to pay for parking. We will most likely be booking here in July

Stayed one night while on a business trip. It's an aitport sheraton which means it's close to the airport, has everything someone on business would need.

My room was a nice size, two king beds, bathroom a little small but all clean and plenty of towels.

Internet wasn't free which is shameful in this day and age but great service at the desk checking in.

Room Tip: car park is not huge.

Selected this hotel as a stopping point for our trip to Florida. We were going to be spending New Years Eve and assumed there would be some activity. This hotel is pet friendly and has good outside areas but does not provide bags and disposal like La Quinta.

We had to wait 15 minutes to check in waiting for completion of another check-in that took forever. Once we got served, we were done in 3 minutes.

Room was good, but could never get any hot water for the sink.

We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. They were completely out of ketchup. The bartender was nice but complained of how many days in a row she had already worked. There was no activity for New Years Eve and we were back in our room by 11. Note, there is a Ruby Tuesdays right across the street and would have gone there if we would have seen it.

The room rate was fair, but there were charges for parking and in-room Internet.

We went down to try to get a cart but could not use unless the bellman assisted. We declined and elected to make two trips to the car without the cart (just easier to do with a pet)

I called the hotel while en route to confirm. Talked to Tristan. So personal and professional that I felt like I knew them well. Upon check in, Michael was equally impressive and efficient. I almost felt like I was an owner. After driving 700 miles, I'm not sure me or my dog Sophie was ready for contact. We just wanted a room. That soon changed w Tristan & Michael. It was a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again!

This so-called airport hotel defies belief. I wasn't too surprised about the place given that we got it from Delta Airlines whose incompetence forced an overnighter in Atlanta. So, here's the basics: you arrive at 10:30pm, check in and try to get food in the restaurant that's supposed to be open till 11pm. Well, suffice it to say, they closed a little bit early, despite seeing a large queue of stranded, hungry passengers checking in for the night. They pointed to a 'cafe' where day-old, over-priced sandwiches hoped for desperate buyers. Tip: cross the road and head for the Ruby Tuesdays.
Well, come the room. It's ok, the usual good beds that you come to expect from Sheraton hotels, bathroom clean, crabtree&evelyn amenities, starbucks coffeemaker. No reason to complain.

The room I was in was one that had an interlocking door to the adjacent room (one of those locked at both sides). As a result I was able to 'enjoy' a conversation taking place between two women in said adjacent room. A farcical situation. A good night's sleep in this hotel - not quite.

Of course, as with any Sheraton, there's sneaky attempts at ripping you off. There's a leaflet on your desk flagging that calls to 1-800 numbers are 'complimentary'. Goes without saying that that complimentary translates into a 2$ charge, classic Sheraton as I have come to know the chain. Goes without saying, there's an extortionate charge for internet access in the rooms.

Avoid this place if you can.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton to be close to here sorority ball in a nearby facility. I will say that the thing that stood out the most was the exceklent customer service. The only negetative thing that i have to say is the base of the shower head had a little separation from a wall. Other than that, it turned out to be a nice quick getaway for us.

We are SPG Platinum Preferred Guests and we were treated like trash. We checked into this hotel enroute to our wedding in Savannah from Germany. We were treated very RUDE and the desk staff was very unprofessional. They gave us a room with two double beds...seriously??? We were so tired after our international travels and could have used some comfort. Forget about it...here all you get is attitude!!! Let's not discuss the RUDE lady working in the SPG Club Lounge every morning. WOW!!! She was really rude. That was a terrible way to wake up. The accomodations in the "so called" club lounge are terrible with food that is less than average. Mostly muffins, sugary sweets, and crusty dried out bread. Totally disappointing...we will stay at another Sheraton or possibly Westin the next time we are in Atlanta.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere
