I have stayed at this property at least once a month for the last 5 years. The firm I work with has a corporate agreement so we are encouraged to stay there when traveling to Atlanta. The hotel is conveniently located if you have business in midtown. The parking charge has increased recently to $21/day, so be prepared for that. Notice in the reviews, that the rating has steadily declined over the past year or so. The hotel has become mismanaged over the past 2 years. I am not sure if this is related to a management or ownership change. The internet service in the room is horrible. There is no wireless and the wired connection is extremely slow. I have also had issues with bedbugs as another user commented. If you have a billing issue it will take at least 5 phone calls to resolve. They will tell you it is fixed, but it will not be. If you leave a personal item in your room, you will not see it again. They will transfer you to the maid's answering machine when you call about it, but she will never call you back. If you go to the front desk and manage to get the manager or the housekeeping supervisor they will tell you that they will look into it and call you, but they never will. The parking staff and the evening front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, the issue is clearly with the hotel management.
